Randomly split sample points in QGIS

In modeling geographical variables, often you would need to split your dataset into samples for creating a model and samples for evaluating the model.
This video shows how to split sample points randomly based on the specified percentage (e.g. 20% for validation and the rest 80% for model) in QGIS. First, a tool would randomly select features based on the percentage value you input. You can export the selected features after. Next, you can inverse the selection and export the rest.
