From what I’ve been seeing from other people, it’s been popular and a success. I probably won’t be watching it, but I’m glad that the live action is doing well.
To be honest, this is probably the most anime looking live action adaptation I have ever seen in my life and I kinda like the idea of how every villain is introduced through these bounty posters.

I was not expecting to get over one thousand likes for my comment! I don’t type my comments for the amount of likes. I just express my opinions for the videos I watch.
At first I thought they were 4th wall breaks then I realized its actually viable that the wanted poster just floated into their line of sight. That said, Buggy's is fucking amazing. It's like hes such a narcist that he wont even let a picture of himself get in the way of... himself.
its a really great snapshot of the characters, in a show where there are so many characters, its helpful to get a read on who they are - especially for first time viewers. Gol D. Rogers doesn't need to touch his, his legacy speaks for itself, he's above that. Alvida smashes hers using her club demonstration her penchant for violence, but the upward motion draws attention to herself - who lauds herself as the most beautiful pirate - and her vanity. Buggy swipes his out of the way, as if he's pushing someone out of the way, demanding the viewer to look at him over the poster. He wants to be the main focus - like @ZigealFaust mentioned, he won't let a picture of himself get in the way of himself. Arlong tears his up with his sharp nose, demonstrating both his pride as a fishman but also his savage power - this is someone who doesn't care who he has to hurt to reach his goal. Kuro elegantly shreds his to pieces, reflecting the urge to get rid of the anxiety and stress that it brings him, but also the precise nature of his character. He is very thorough. Mihawk effortlessly swipes through his poster with his sword, the motion is simple and there's little exertion from him - he doesn't care about having a bounty or not, is power so great that caring about such a thing is beneath him. This gives us the impression that he is to feared. Don Kreig aggressively scrunches it up and tosses it aside, the poster being a barrier to his ambitions, so he removes it to face the bigger threat - Mihawk.

Here’s how I think the bounties in Season 2 will be like: • Brogy and Dorry - Carelessly step on their wanted posters • Wapol - Eats his poster in a single chomp • Crocodile - Jabs it with his hook and lets it fly off • Ace - Burns it away
It took me until Arlong Park to realise he was Deke. I felt I knew the voice and posture since ep 2, but it took me until the end to make the connection.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the upgrade that Alvida gave herself? She goes from having a 5,000,000 bounty to being on equal status to Buggy on his crew. Anything Buggy has, she has basically equal control over. I'd even say she has more power because if she really wanted something a certain way, she would probably be able to get him to comply one way or another.
I love the concept of the wanted posters just flying into people's faces randomly and they're so used to it they just kinda tear 'em apart or swipe them aside.
This is kind of creative since we didn't see any of the bounty posters popping up infront of the pirate villains and the pirates destroying them in the anime. It makes me wondered what would Robin's introduction will do on her Bounty Poster look like when Season 2 comes up? Also I do wondered what would the Worst Generations introduced with the bounty posters be like? (Maybe Law will use shambles on the poster to switch with his sword?)
I absolutely loved this so much in the live action. SUCH a cool animation and concept. Just a perfect example of one seemingly minor effect that can make a show so much more enjoyable and cool. This and having the custom "One piece" titles/song at the beginning of each episode are *chefs kiss!

It PERFECTLY fits the comedic tone OF One Piece as One Piece has had fourth wall breaking moments in the series, mainly in the anime. -"What's wrong, ever heard of a running gag!" I Just love how One Piece perfectly balances out the comedy, serious tone, badass action scenes, and super emotional moments perfectly well for it's story and the Live action series does it perfectly as well to match to what the series is known best as!
I don't think it's comedic. I think the bounty posters are one of the more serious moments of the show. You see the posters with the bounties and it just reminds you they really are dangerous pirates that are WANTED dead or alive! Too cool🥶💯
I PRAY NEXT SEASON WE EXPAND ON THIS IDEA. Don't get me wrong I loved this. Now we need to be even more creative in showing the bounties. Like starting in a pub and on a wall we get a pan zoom shot of let's say in loguetown we get an update on Alvida or even Dragon asking for info on Luffy. Then a zoom on them doing a cool turn setting out to find him.

This makes me so hyped to imagine how the other pirates for season 2 would have their wanted posters come into play! Like, imagine Crocodile walking in, enveloped in a raging sandstorm that he created. His wanted poster flying in within the tornado. But then either gets cut up by his Sable move, or the poster completely disintegrates as it dries up into sand.
I paused at 1:20 and his poster was perfectly lined up with his body, it looks like he was bowing as he was introduced (to me at least) and looking damn intimidating doing it. Kinda fit with the whole ‘proper butler’ charade That’s pretty freakin cool

Here’s how I think the bounties in Season 2 will be like:
• Brogy and Dorry - Carelessly step on their wanted posters
• Wapol - Eats his poster in a single chomp
• Crocodile - Jabs it with his hook and lets it fly off
• Ace - Burns it away
They didn't do Buggy justice......they did him absolute justice
Kuro’s theme along with his reveal was the first intimidating scene that actually hit me. Bravo!
Now imagine this for futur characters like Kaido, Big Mom, Crocodile, Blackbeard or Gecko Moria.

When i saw Buggy for the first time i was SHOCKED and when Arlong appeared he was looking AMAZING.
Let’s face it, buggy’s intro and poster was the best
Buggy aka Jeff Ward aka Deke is one of the best in this show definitely 👍🏿. But yeah real nice LA One Piece 🤝🏿
It took me until Arlong Park to realise he was Deke. I felt I knew the voice and posture since ep 2, but it took me until the end to make the connection.

The pirates getting rid of their own wanted poster is such a brilliant stylistic choice!
The live action is what got me into the anime, it was so good
I love the concept of the wanted posters just flying into people's faces randomly and they're so used to it they just kinda tear 'em apart or swipe them aside.
i love those 4th wall breaking bounty reveal scene way too much
This is kind of creative since we didn't see any of the bounty posters popping up infront of the pirate villains and the pirates destroying them in the anime. It makes me wondered what would Robin's introduction will do on her Bounty Poster look like when Season 2 comes up? Also I do wondered what would the Worst Generations introduced with the bounty posters be like? (Maybe Law will use shambles on the poster to switch with his sword?)
That was honestly one of my favorite bits there. Hopfully they will continue it next season.
I absolutely loved this so much in the live action. SUCH a cool animation and concept. Just a perfect example of one seemingly minor effect that can make a show so much more enjoyable and cool. This and having the custom "One piece" titles/song at the beginning of each episode are *chefs kiss!
Can’t wait to see how they’ll do the Straw Hats when season 2 gets announced. Might have to wait a year but it’ll be worth it.
I think mostly two years.
If it gets announced.
It was relatively easy to adapt East Blue since most of the arcs were already short but how are they supposed to adapt Alabasta? More importantly, how are they supposed to adapt Chopper?
@@mdsystems4463chopper , laboon , croco's sand powers and so much more goofy shit to come . They would need a movie's budget for doing all that

One Piece live action is now my favourite live action adaptation series followed by the Touken Ranbu live action movies, it's so amazing! 💕💕💕
i can just imagine kaido thunder bagua-ing his wanted poster
Imma say it now, one piece ain't going anytime soon unless Netflix only does this good live action of the one piece, also even if oda does end one piece in 5 year's, he'll just focus on making this as goofy and good as his anime, hopefully it doesn't get canceled, or that or oda makes a boruto version of one piece but better
That would be in 2050. 😂
Or a Boro Breath 😳
I hope we are still alive at that point 😂
The breaking of the 4th wall really makes it feel like they're fighting game characters doing an intro or something. Awesome introduction
I like how Mihawk’s bounty says bounty cancelled because of him being a Warlord
What else would it say? 🤷♂️😂
I really enjoy how they did the wanted posters in this show, they did it like wrestling villan entrances
This is just a fun introduction to the big bads of the season, maybe not krieg, but I hope they do this for the other pirates when they do the other seasons.
they literally cut krieg in the live action 😂
Why do they change Arlong as the main bad guy on Baratie arc instead of Krieg tho?
@@margarethmichelina5146 to better introduce the Arlon Park arc which comes right after
@@margarethmichelina5146Because the adaptation is bad, and some writer at Netflix somehow got his One Piece Fanfic published.
Buggy went from joke to Buggy D. Joker 💀
Kuro was the most improved character (compared to the manga/anime) for me. Even his theme is awesome!
Syrup Village as a whole was improved. The arc is actually good in Live Action
I agree, he was far more terrifying here then he was in the manga and anime
Buggy and Arlong's theme songs are lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love how Gold Roger and Luffy are the only characters who don't rip their wanted posters out of their face
He moved it with Haki lol
Roger was handcuffed so he couldn't do it.

It PERFECTLY fits the comedic tone OF One Piece as One Piece has had fourth wall breaking moments in the series, mainly in the anime. -"What's wrong, ever heard of a running gag!"
I Just love how One Piece perfectly balances out the comedy, serious tone, badass action scenes, and super emotional moments perfectly well for it's story and the Live action series does it perfectly as well to match to what the series is known best as!
I don't think it's comedic. I think the bounty posters are one of the more serious moments of the show. You see the posters with the bounties and it just reminds you they really are dangerous pirates that are WANTED dead or alive! Too cool🥶💯
well it gives the whole show visual flare!@@sour3000
I PRAY NEXT SEASON WE EXPAND ON THIS IDEA. Don't get me wrong I loved this. Now we need to be even more creative in showing the bounties.
Like starting in a pub and on a wall we get a pan zoom shot of let's say in loguetown we get an update on Alvida or even Dragon asking for info on Luffy. Then a zoom on them doing a cool turn setting out to find him.

If this show gets future seasons (given Netflix seems to make decisions with a magic 8 ball)
I'm really looking forward to the new posters.
Bro, it is trending in 84 countries. Why wouldn't they make another season?
@petrichor259 As I said, Netflix makes baffling decisions sometimes. And with Writer's and Actors still on strike, production will be delayed.
and Netflix usually start fk things up from season 2

This makes me so hyped to imagine how the other pirates for season 2 would have their wanted posters come into play!
Like, imagine Crocodile walking in, enveloped in a raging sandstorm that he created. His wanted poster flying in within the tornado. But then either gets cut up by his Sable move, or the poster completely disintegrates as it dries up into sand.
I paused at 1:20 and his poster was perfectly lined up with his body, it looks like he was bowing as he was introduced (to me at least) and looking damn intimidating doing it. Kinda fit with the whole ‘proper butler’ charade
That’s pretty freakin cool
This was a really fun addition
Season 2 should start with showing Luffy's wanted poster expect he grabs it to admire it, instead of getting rid of it
