The hokkian interview is nice and special. Like it.
I have a big soft spot for Hokkien 👌👌
Thanks for the interviews, very interesting to know pro players choices. Patiently waiting for updated Indonesia video :D
Yep! Coming soon!
Very happy to see more players using different brand of rackets, eg: Kumpoo, Apacs, Fleet.
they're all sponsored bythose brands...hence why they're using them
Wow. Thinah can speak mandarin. Im impress. 👍🏻
She is India or Bangladesh?
She is Malaysian Tamil!
It's incredible how you switch between languages! And your enthusiasm speaking in other languages like Japanese to connect with different players as well
Always love this series
I've switched to the TKF-E (BG 80 27lbs) from the Arc 11 Pro 3u5, It's definitely a great fit for me and way more forgiving and well rounded racket in my opinion. However, in the near future I may consider VBS 68P
👌👌
I felt broke looking at this
Great video! Noticed that Liew Daren looked furious after the match with Prannoy HS, im assuming he explained to you what happened?
Yes, it was a very tense match and a few controversial moments too.
lol Darren Liew didn't want to be there! Keep it up CK!
darren aged 20 years since all england
A loss after a tough match is never nice 😬
Lee Zii Jia wants a restart and switched to the old one - that‘s too manny ??? Sounds like something is strange with the 2nd Version of Ryuga :D Cool Video as always ❤❤❤
Always enjoy learning what the pros use
More to come!! 👍🏼👍🏼
last year many of them said they use 4U but this year it seems almost everyone uses 3U in doubles as well.
love this series. Please keep it going and updating.
Thanks! More to come

Hi, thx for making this video..Always delight to watch. Been wondering why there is less player using mizuno racket; is it consider less popular? And if possible can u make review of mizuno fortius and altius racket? Like the racket series, but it seem not many people reviewing them? Thx for the great works!
It’s down to their sponsoring program. If a brand sponsor less players, they generally get less brand awareness on the circuit
Hi CK, great content as usual. Thanks for all the hardwork. I am curious, what did Pearly use before switching to Arcsaber 7? Also, I've been using NF700, and when I tried using Arcsaber 7 with the same string & tension (Aerosonic, 23x25), it feels like the Arcsaber 7 has less power. Which is weird, because NF700 is headlight (vs even balance) and my NF700 is 5U whereas the Arcsaber 7 I tried out is 4U. Any insights on this matter?
In my opinion. I do own a Nano 800 4U5. Being headlight it's not suitable for backcourt or singles. However, I did find this to be very strong towards Mid to front attack due to it's frame design, slim shaft and increased swing speed which allows you to generate power quickly which I'd say substitutes for it's power loss being headlight, if that makes sense.
I think she used Astrox 88S Pro before
@@johanneswei4456 yea, with some tape on the top of racket in order to gaining more weight if i'm not mistaken
Check out my previous interview with them at the all england earlier this year 👍🏼
Pearly use 88s Pro before using 7pro. And i do have all of those 3 rackets, NF700, 88s Pro and my current main racket 7 pro. From my exp, 88s pro is the most powerful out of these 3 rackets, with 7 pro coming close in second and NF700 in the last spot. I think the most logical explanation why that happen is because you are not accustomed with 7pro, cause it has a slight different swing and feeling from NF700 and also 7 pro has shuttle hold unlike NF700 which famous for its repulsion.
Hi CK Yew, Thanks again for this great content. I noticed, non Yonex players (racquets especially Li-Ning) have only one tension (i.e. just 31lbs instead of 30x32lbs). I wonder if these players have the same tension on their mains and crosses!
Hi CK, I want to ask if you know what could be good yonex / victor alternative for Praveen Jordan's Victor Thruster F Enhanced racket? As It's out of stock literally everywhere. I've been using astrox 100zz for more than a year and I find smashing pretty satistfying but yet a but weak as it is extra stiff racket and I would like to try some similar racket to Jordan's thruster which is stiff/medium and his previous rackets were Li-ning TURBO CHARGING 75EX / Aeronaut 9000C which are both medium stiff. I'm more of a rear court player / smasher so I'm thinking about Astrox 88D Pro. I've checked Lee Zii Jia's Thruster Ryuga as it's medium stiff and head heavy as well but seems to be too heavy for me (91g). Could you advise on this? Thank you!
Arcsaber 11 pro or Astrox 77, even Astrox 88S Pro
@@CKYew Thank you!
I've made a little bit of research of specs and I decided to order Li-ning Turbocharging 75. Thanks for the advice tho!
👌👌👌
Hey ck, the tour versions of Yonex top end rackets are available in india now, what is your suggestion between arc11 and ax100 tour models? i previously had an ax100 game model ( which you helped me choose). Please help,, thanks
Good to see you speak Hokkien too :-D
Haha 👌
still confused.....what is the benefit of pre stretched?
tks 🙏🏻
Less or no loss of tension while playing.
More "stable" which makes for more consistency in use. Non pre-stretch string will start to loose tension after stringing/usage. So, if you initially string at 26lbs, then after several days/weeks/games, the tension may have dropped to 24 lbs.
cool! tks guys for the knowledge
from this CKY channel videos, we know that just some players using pre stretched. maybe 40% or less.
i assume that most of the players re-string their rackets right before the competition start
I never know you are from Penang, the moment when you switch to English, damn the accent, so nice to here. By the why, I’m from and at Penang hahahaha hi there
Hiiii 😊
Amazing interview. Do players change racquets often ? Do they use customized models and shapes with paint jobs or do they use retail racquets ?
Some change often, some don’t. Some get customs, most use retail 👌
Salut deh sama Thinaah yang mau belajar bahasa mandarin supaya komunikasinya lebih lancar. Bahasa mandarin susah ya buset🥲

Hey CK, great vidss alwayss🔥🔥🔥 wanna ask, which strings do you prefer to use between the BG66 ULTIMAX and EXBOLT 63??? Thankss, hope i heal soon and get to be back on court ASAPP, waiting fot the astrox 77 pro series reviewww👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Heyyyyy, personally, i would go for the Exbolt 65.. 😂
@@CKYew Exbolt 65 is great, but with my usage, it fails similarly with BG66U when I thought it would last much longer. Do you have the same experience?
I'm a doubles social player. I play both front and back. Should I get a 5u with heavy head or 4u even balanced?
4U even balance 👍🏼. 5U rackets are easy to start with but hard to master
CK Yew, are you Malaysian working abroad?
Ye
Just a question, what did you mean by +10% in tension?
Pulling string with higher tension first before string it up on the racquet. This decreased the repulsion of the string and gives more solid feeling and control.
However, this greatly decreased the life span of the string, making it thinner and more easy to snap.
Electronic machines are able to automatically pull the extra % before going to the desired tension. 👍🏼
Hi can you please recommend me one string with good smashed and good durability
Can you plz tell me is Maxbolt Gallant Tour good for offensive player? Also does it have good control?
I’ve not tested it before 😬😬

Hi CK Yew, did you get a chance to interview Ng Tze Yong?
He wasn’t playing at the French open where this was filmed. Hopefully next time!
Ah nice bit of Hokkien there boss ! Could have carried on a fair few more I reckon! 😂

Are professional players racket custom made for higher string tension? Some of the rackets have their max tension upto 28 or 29lbs
max tension normally stated for warranty and reliability purpose. but since they are sponsored racket, it doesnt matter much
Helo, i want find racket: bp 298-306mm, 4u, flex ~ 8.0-8.8. Help me, thanks! All round racket
what does pre-streched means
I want to know zii jia string when he was with yonex
Hokkien sounds quite similar to Mandarin. Would love to hear you speaking Cantonese with the HK players! 加油!
not sure if you'll see this but noticed the women tend to use thinner string gauges than the men doubles - is this just coincidence here or does this pattern exist on a wider scale and why?
It’s always down to personal preference 👌
Quite a lot of 3U rackets ngl, pretty interesting
Hi CK can you recommend me what string should i use on 88D pro?
I use aerobite 👍
Finally😭❤
Does central sports have world wide shipping?
If you drop the team a quick message, I’m sure they’ll be able to let you know if they ship to your location immediately 😊
@@CKYew do you know by chance if they ship to sweden
I think they do but I’m not sure!
can someone enlighten me on the pre stretch tension?
Strings when they first strung on the racket are too tight to play with, that's the "early phase", you gotta play with it a couple of times to make it able to bounce, that's the "honeymoon phase". People pre stretch the strings tension to skip the "early phase" and straight to the "honeymoon phase". 1 bad thing about pre stretching is, your strings lose tension earlier.
I wonder why pearly use 88s pro before instead of 88d pro since she is a smasher at the back court
i guess she doesnt prefer a super head heavy racket like 88d pro & prefered a lighter racket like 88s pro & arcsaber 7 pro
Wondering why there's no double player use ZF2 in their game?
It used to be popular previously. It’s an old model now
wow most male pro players tension are 30++, man they are super strong !
Pearly Tan ❤️❤️❤️

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I'm surprised to learn that some Malaysian players use 65-TI.... seems Ultimax or BG80 is not as popular.
Sir, could you show us your badminton clothes wardrobe collection?
What you see I normally wear on court for my racket reviews is exactly it 😂😂
I guess many of us love this, as to know more about the pros
👌
i don't know what is means why they using the racket with tension(30x32lbs)? Why normal player always using 25-28lbs. It's not mix 26x28 like proplayer using. Can u explain?
i guess they use same setup as yonex aerobite, high tension for cnter
,low tension for side. im using it currently but both 27lbs 😂
Can these rackets withstand the high tension?
They can but won't be covered by manufacturer's warranty and have high chance of breaking. See what happened with Hendra's racket, broke at a crucial point of the match
