Shiiit, even the US can't afford The Beatles, Rach! 😅 Not only is the boxset majorly overpriced, it's also pretty underwhelming, considering what you're getting for the money... If they included the rest of the US albums, or a nice hardcover book like they used to, I would've already bought it. I'm definitely not paying full price as is.. I'll wait until it comes down some. Sure, the individual albums are fairly priced, but it's just not worth the additional $120 for a fairly plain looking box & The Beatles Story "album", that you'll be lucky to play once. Also, I don't get why they cheaped out on the lacquer cutting engineer.. Out of all the top tier, in demand guys out there, they pick the guy with a horrible reputation for cutting dull, lifeless, quietly cut records as of late. Plus, it appears these will likely be pressed at GZ, by the looks of it. Not good. I hope they prove me wrong though, and these hopefully sound amazing. We'll see.. Time will tell. Looking forward to some reviews before ordering anything. 👍
1:08:50 The point about that chat comment, which renders it pointless, is that it applies to *Any* theory in *Any* field right across the Sciences & all across the Humanities right across the culture all along the watchtower, & applies also to *Any* party in or out of politics. Freudians hang out with Freudians & Jungians hang out with Jungians & Transactional Analysts hang out with Transactional Analysts. They even have their own peer-reviewed journals (peers!) where they say "Hi! you'll never guess what I just found out!" to each other. Liverpool supporters hang out with Liverpool supporters & Evertonians hang out with Evertonians & believe their team is the noblest, & even have their own *programmes* on match day. Every allegiance has a congregation. So are they *all* choir singers in *Beneath the Planet of the Apes?* What does this comment demonstrate when attributed to an unnamed branch of 'conspiracy theorists' that isn't also applicable, sociologically, to every other group in town? It's not a bright comment; it has no particular place to go. If the comment wants to hint at confirmation bias, then this potential is applicable right across the board where birds of a feather flock together. Any time someone says to some else about absolutely *anything* , "Yeah, I agree!" they have bonded, or, to someone else, they have conspired to see eye-to-eye.

Sadly, the price point is a no go for me as is. I'm holding off too and hope it drops. 👍🤞

Agreed, 4D - Not much I can add here without repeating what I stated on today’s episode to his comment. 👍🏻
