  • Welcome to another episode of #BigMikeMunizTVshow 😁Everyone gets so focused on acceleration, speed , and stance when doing a build. Sure people upgrade their brakes, but after it's all done... The brake system is all but forgotten, well... Maybe with the exception when brake pads are worn out and need replacingMost don't even realize that the brake fluid in their car needs to also be serviced.
I've put together this video to show you how to check your brake fluid. Sure, you could buy those brake fluid test strips that measure the copper level in your fluid, but if you have a DVOM (Digital Volt and Ohm Meter), you could do this for free (I really do hope that if you are building a car, you have at least a cheap multimeter). The old school logic that if the brake fluid is dark, then it has to be bad. Well that's not always the case.
You could check the galvanic (corrosion) level of your brake fluid by measuring the voltage it produces. You could also do a OHMS, or resistance check as another option.
So sit back and hope you enjoy this short informational video. Thaks for watching 👍
