Neale can be the best in the comp or top 3 but they'll compare him to his 2020 year and go "he's not at his best so its not AA worthy" whilst he's still a top 3 midfielder. AA selection is a joke lmao, tom stewert will probably get in despite only playing 3 good games. Jeremy Cameron will get in for playing 3 good games, Gawn is always a lock. Like you said, Daicos has had a number of very good games, he's also had some absolute shockers, way too many to justify being AA imo, exact same as Jeremy Cameron, he's been a complete non factor in half the games this season but will make it based on his reputation and the fact people judge them based off their highs and not their lows. Xerri has been better than Gawn this year, and also hasn't missed any games due to injury, yet some 'experts' will scoff at the idea of Gawn not being in the team. Also Jack Sinclair might have been the best player in the comp in the second half of the season, yet Kingy is the first to mention him and Kane seemed surprised, if he played for Collingwood and had a famous dad they'd be all over him. Sucks to play for a small or interstate club.

I couldn't see myself changing teams again from here

King on Grundy is completely off, and the suggestion that we play an extra midfielder instead is laughable. He's been down for a few weeks, but he's not in the side for his contributions around the ground. He has remained competitive in the ruck the whole time, if less dominant than the start of the season, and has probably been the biggest reason across the season for our improvement in contested footy and clearances.
