BERNADETTE HINDS SAYS THANKS TO GRAND RIVIERE

The remarkable story of Mrs. Bernadette Hinds, a Guyanese migrant with St. Lucian roots who came back to the island with 20 Guyana dollars and a firm determination to make a new life for herself and her family in the land of her parents.
She soon became an integral member of the Grand Riviere Gros Islet community and a household name.
Stanley Lucien reports that following fifty years of support from the community Bernadette Hinds affectionately called Ms Lucess wants to express her gratitude to the Grand Riviere community.
