i think smrt just doesnt want some of its buses and wants to replace them with electric buses. SMRT will forever be the best company in terms of buses and trains though!

These logoless will go to Mandai Integrated Depot whic is operated by Tower Transit Singapore. From 5 September which is this coming Sunday, all these logoless buses will be presented with the Tower Transit Singapore logo. This is under the Yishun-Sembawang bus package under the Bus- Contracting model. From this Sunday, Tower Transit Singapore will take over SMRT bus services that are not taken over by SBS Transit when it takes over Yishun Integrated Transport Hub from SMRT buses Ltd in 2018.

Sad to see the colours of our bus fleet getting ruined by LTA’s lack of creativity. Honestly, i dont get the meaning of SG ❤️Bus when our dearest LTA dont seem to bother appreciating or preserving our classic workhorses.

Welp, I guess SMRT won't be the operator with the most Man bus batches anymore soon.
Maybe because most of the buses are already dispatched to other bus depots operated by other bus companies.

Bus Services 110, 960, 961, all the feeder bus services at WITH and all other bus services at Choa Chu Kang & Bukit Panjang are still under SMRT buses so SMRT Buses Ltd is still in operation.

There are still chances that SMRT might get new bus packages like Sengkang, Tampines or even Pasir Ris.
The first three generation trains will be gone soon.

It is saddening to hear that TTS will take over the Sembawang-Yishun package from 6 Sep 2021 onwards.
However, I actually do like the beige livery A22 without the logo, looks clean and simple (lol it reminds me of the SBS livery).

Another 7 years from now in 2021 in 2028 with the possibility of Tower Transit & Tower Transit Singapore having to prolong the Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package by another 2 years in addition of the most standardized time of 5 years upon doing more than improving on service, everything else etc, Ryan Lay.
I miss when LTA wasnt in charge of buying the buses. We would probably see more bendy buses with SMRT

Information on bus services that will be taken over by TTS can be found at www.lta.gov.sg
After 19 September, bus service 969 will be operated by Tower Transit Singapore. On that day if you were at Tampines Bus Interchange, you will see 4 bus companies operating the bus services. Here they are-bus services 3 & 68 under Go Ahead Singapore, 67 under SMRT Buses Ltd, 969 under Tower Transit Singapore and the rest of the bus services being operated by SBS-Transit.

Sembawang - Yishun Bus Package: Goodbye SMRT, Hello Tower Transit. I have the feeling that Tower Transit will be the successor of SMRT Buses (I don't know if anyone feels the same).
What bus services does SMRT operates now?

Not all but most of the batch 1 A95 MAN double-deck buses will be transferred. As long as they can still be in use, the buses are still transferable unless they are deregistered and sent to scrapyards or exported to other countries.

As part of Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package operating from Mandai Bus Depot & Integrated Depot as well, Kevin.
Simply put it, 963 and 966 are bus services at Woodlands Bus Interchange so these 2 bus services are included in the Yishun -Sembawang Bus Package when TTS takes over WITH on 19 September except for bus services 925, 960,961 & all feeder bus services which are not included but further news of these still SMRT- operatedbus services will be announced later to decide what will happen to them.
