  • I attempted this once before like a week after I bought this watch but then I bailed because I got intimidated by how different it is when compared to other G-Shock at the time. Now it gets easy. Anyway, that would explain the rust and all. Check the review video here: • THE TOUGHEST SMART WAT...

    very istructive your video fatastic macro and rich of details. Do you think it is possible to change the polarization of display from negative to positve like you alredy done on the standard square display? thanks and great job

      I've seen someone swap that front polarizer to different coloured ones, which means it still use the same type of material as other gshock, which then means it should be possible to change it to positive display.
      I don't think it'll look good though 🤷

    Very nice video! I'm wondering now who they charge the battery with this PV cell. Do they make a direct connection from the PV to the battery, or do they use any kind of power management IC? BTW, what is the PV voltage of these watches?

    Gshock watches sre so well built. Even the new tech inside is so robust.

    So it does use a Li-pak and all this time I thought it was a coin cell.
    I was on the verge of selling mine but having seen this video, I'm keeping it. :)

    I love the idea of solar charge and a rechargeable battery. Low maintenance and reliability. I had a GShock that my ex bought me that had to have the battery replaced. The pressure testing and new battey would have cost £80, more than the watch was worth. I just went with the battery. The watch has never been the same since!

    hello, do you think i can get casioak mod kit for ga110?

      will it work?

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  4 месяца назад

      Not possible, the size and shape is totally different. Maybe the strap could fit inti the lug but thats it. The index marker, the face dial, the bezel, even the side screws cannot fit into ga110 case.

    Do you know, Gmw-b5000(3459) module is same looking as other gwb5600(3461)? different r display and case ? ?
    those square have same function but, different price.

      Yes it is just the same movement with different hardware.
      the full metal ones feels better on wrists and even look better to. Plus if someone have skin sensitivity issues with plastic or nickel, the black IP metal gmwb5000 would help.

    I've found heat goes a LONG WAY when dealing with stubborn adhesives. You'd be suprised how clean things come off, it also helps for things that need to be re-applied like stickers and labels

      I have this fear in my head like what if the plastic lcd ribbon slot melts when I use my heat gun.
      Gshock is getting complex now, Imma gonna need to step up. 😅

    Unfortunately, Gshock is no longer what we have known since childhood, what we see from oxidation and a Chinese battery is a sign that this giant company is starting to abandon its quality little by little.
    Why is that, Casio?? 😢😢😮😮

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  4 месяца назад

      Oxidation is my fault, the battery is another rabbit hole.
      Quality wise, could be improved but for the price and also when compared to other smartwatches brands, G-Shock is still good you know.
