For everyone asking where you can find full vod it’s on metro’s twitch from about a month ago. Took me noticing how much health enemy ana gained from her nade on eichenwald to figure out this must’ve been a little while ago lol. Great video btw metro!
Its so cool to see someone already extremely good at the game, get instant results from coaching. I learned quite a few good things during this
3:12 i mention awkward because my ana is improving thanks to him. I used to save abilities for the "perfect moment" but just applying the pressure of being antied or someone being slept does a lot to win fights. I never used to play ana in koth but im in the phase of being worse bsfore i get better, always looking for "damage, damage,damage"
I think that what Awkward says usually gets misunderstood by some people. It's far too easy to mistake using your cooldowns with simply spamming them. What should be taken from his teachings is that you'll have to use your resources consistently in order to get value from them and saving them forever won't grant you anything special. However, as any other game that deals with resources, you'll never want to trade a single resource for another. Winning is about making unfair trades, like forcing a cooldown, repositioning and affecting time balance with a single resource. On this timestamp, for example, what Metro was doing was trading a more valuable resource (rocket) for a less valuable resource (cover + default healing). It's far better to use it in a way that baits more resources from the enemy team than simply trading your "free kill" button. That's not to say what Awkward is saying is wrong, it's more like there's a whole context and method to apply it better in a way that we as players can understand more than simply by repeating his mantras.

Against bastion i save sleep for shift, early fights I sleep random enemies, when i can stop and ult i save it for that. Like playing que deathmatch where i can shit on gm/top 500 players, people get so surprised when slept as phar/echo😂

If awkward would see me play Ana at my best, he'd say the best sleep darts are from a gold support. Wish we could sleep doom out of ult and cancel junk tire because I hit those🎯
You can sleep junk tire all you got to do is sleep him before he revs it and it cancels
@@cleannobody no junk ults in los, sleep should be a one shot on tire because many times one shot is all you have time for. Also, the only bot in training that takes damage shouldn't die, something I thought of in seconds that they couldn't in years

former rank 1 tank player, multiple seasons in top 10, etc but mostly in OW1. in OW2 does mostly coaching.
