Very nice. I have a base for trees with images of each tree. I want to use this method to store multiple images of each tree (we update them as the trees grow). But then on the main table I want to display only the most recent image. Do you know how to do this?
Hi Sean, Thats a tricky one. You can definitely have your images automatically sorted within the library (and grouped by the tree they are related to) but getting the linked images (from the trees table) to show in reverse order maybe tricky. I'm not at a computer now but I wonder if a roll-up field works with images. If yes you may be able to apply some formulas within the roll-up and make it do what you need. Another option might be a script / automation that runs and reorders the linked records and copies the latest one to its own field.
I struggle with this, as you already have existing tables with existing fields (and quite similar names) in your example! If you recap, how many tables do you need in total? An image table, and a general table with lookup to the image table? Or one more? I was precisely trying to do something like that, thanks in advance for the help!

You can have as many other tables as you need - but whenever you want to use images in them, you add a Linked field (to choose images) and a Lookup (to show images)...
