Probably the coolest thing about the queuing with shift + click is that it doesn't count as clicking to walk, so if you missclick you don't break the queue. Unfortunately, setting it to queue with just left click doesn't do that.
I don’t see this update as being all that great personally. It’s the same amount of clicks either way, and unlike OSRS, it is not gonna give me time to run to the bathroom. Also not too happy about hats disappearing so soon. Like c’mon it’s holidays + OSRS raging echoes. If you have a family and wanted to play leagues, no time for hats 😂 (and yes I’m still playing Leagues, it’s my first one and I’m a noob anyway, only like 500 hrs into OSRS)

The queuing will do some good. I swapped from brighter shores back to ethyrial echoes of yore just because clicking a shit ton as an adult with ADHD makes me burn out. If I'm skilling, I want the skilling to be chill so I can do like 5 things at once while afk'ing. If I'm going to be focusing on the game, I want some sort of visual or something to stimulate me enough to stay focused. Plus, I think I'm going to wait a bit to focus on the game. Until they get dungeons and more to do I'll stick to ethyrial.

I'm not sure why people are so invested in it's "failure." People have been "wanting" something new for years, but continue to invest in the failure of projects, rather than their success. Puzzling. Gower is, to an extent above his peers, clearly interested in updating this game frequently, and making pretty significant changes. If there's anyone to root for right now, it's probably him.

I LOVE that I can actually talk to people in game easier now, instead of hyper focusing for the moment that next ore would spawn.

No, but apparently they added semi-afk.
I specifically stuck to grinding melee skills because I could click every 20-30 seconds.
