There are legitimate reasons for certain hairstyles not to be allowed in close contact sports. Certain dreads and hair decorations can fall under that. This is not one of those cases. ok when i first heard about this as someone who wrestles i was on the side of the ref as the rules are the rules. ive seen multiple people get dq'd because of fingernails laces and hair. however none of the other sources i saw said anything about the fact the ref missed weigh-ins AND said that the hair wasnt a problem beforehand AND rejected the hair cover. dude is like a cop who fails to do his job and then lies to try and get convictions.
