...I'm in Comox,....Been driving my '59 TR3A now for 50+ years....First 2 years I had no sidecurtains but drove thru' the winters with a snowmobile suit and my jury rigged heater using a Ford heater rad and 12v fan (still working)....Left Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. after 10 years and ended up on Vancouver Island.....My TR has never let me down, I'm more frail than it now so it doesn't see the road as often.....It's a survivor for sure, with a lot of memories under it's skin......Oh yes, it's white with a white top, black interior and wood overlay on the dash....
Great story! Loved reading it, they don't build cars like that anymore, I hope you can enjoy it for many more years to come. One of the most fun cars I have ever driven!
Had one. Got a ticket in middle of night for defective muffler. It was stock. Hood flew up and hit windshield as I drove on freeway. I must not have screwed it down good. Loved it but then I wanted a big car. Enjoyed the video and good memories.
