Yes I know there was an editing error at 2 minutes for a few seconds as I sped it up to check during editing but that clip wasnt reset! Sorry Tony your thanks is at double speed!
Just shows there are still some very kind and genuine people out there Matt. I'd put the radio cassette in the Mini, just a bit more retro and they were using cassette tapes back then. KEEP THE 75 😁
It us good to here that you saved sone manuals from Maidstone the dash board pieces very nice and that large metal large Rover sign what a beauty and the radios for your new mini maybe one for the old mini anfthe imperial sockets you can never have enough tools and the full dize spare tyre for the Rover 75 a full size spare tyre is a luxury item these days and it matches your other wheels probably next junk in the trunk you may get a jack and wheel brace after your rust problems with your Crown Victoria your junk in the trunk or could it be loot in the boot that cheered you up
Matt everyone knows you love your Rover 75, you know you love your Rover 75, you've wanted a nice one for so long and now you finally have one. How on earth are you going to have the heart to seĺl it, because you wouldn't find another one in that good condition!!!
You get a heap of stuff that is actually NOT junk. Love that laser cut Rover logo. It’s like the skeleton emblem on the bonnet of the series 1 SD1. Generous people. 👍
Speaking of kids in the boot, one of my 5 daughters refused to travel in a baby seat, she would just scream her head off as a baby, the solution was using the pram, a traditional one but had folding wheels and handle which could be folded with the body fitted in place. It fitted nicely across the back of the Datsun Estate which was my Taxi at the time. She'd be asleep in seconds of the engine being started, if not already. The only problem being it was a two person job to lift in and out, often having to grab a random to help if on my own.
Great Video Matt as always 👍 And so glad the presents 🎁 arrived safely. Green hooks are Caliper Hooks for hooking on a spring or suspension strut. To prevent stretching or stressing the brake hose out if you leave it hanging freely. 🙌
My 2000 model year has a real wood dash/airbag cover, but plastic ashtray section - maybe they were all built like that? I have a 2002 ashtray in another colour and that is all plastic too!
Shortly after I was born my dad was given a Renault 12 estate as a company car, we then headed off to Wales for a holiday. I was in my carrycot in the boot when we were rear-ended by another car…
Glad you enjoyed the Mini Boy Plate, i actually got that made up when i had my R56 Mini, the 75 Manual came with my 75 and i think the rear lamp cluster is the original from my 75. Glad you enjoyed the Moffat Toffee, i need to make another roadtrip down for some more😅😅 A great little junk in the trunk as always.
I've watched it on two devices and on both it speeds up around the 1:27 mark till around 2:05. I've only got as far as 2:50 yet so hopefully it doesn't happen again.
Matt I look forward to seeing you fitting the dash for the 75. I have one myself and I messed it up. I only have the passenger air vent in place. My plastic one cracked in exactly the same place as yours and I am rather scared of pulling off the airbag cover.
Hmmm 🤔 why are you talking at x2 speed Matt 🤔, is it to stop SAFEWAY tracking you and prosecuting you for theft of their box 😂, that has to be a very rare box now in the UK lol 😂

That Rover sign is really nice, I guess the logo just suits itself to a cutout well.
Looking back. Rover my shoulder

So glad that wheel was saved after I scraped my 75. The mug makes a perfect coffee.
🤣I love the way you always manage to film the postman arriving!

True, but as much as I like it, it feels like a 'new' car, too new!
that rover sign would look cool filled in resin to match the badge colours then back lit or used as stained glass window lol
Great gifts everyone! Awesome community. 👍
I just clicked the like button and it clicked over to 75! Spooky. What a great collection of stuff. You may have the best fans ever.
And I was just driving the 75 a few minutes ago as well..
Fair play Matt you've got some amazing fans 🙂
Some great people for sure!
It’s not a real British garage without a Safeway Greenbox, mine sits on a shelf full of parts along with a couple of Asda baskets 🤣

It’s stunning isn’t it? That will be beautiful on the wall
If you want one Peter let me know. 😊
@@Fizzyicedcola2024 Thanks but would be cost prohibitive posted to Tasmania.
Another good video Matt 🚘🚙🚗👏👏👏⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍
I have one of those metal rover badges on the wall in my house I painted it black and gold 👌🏻
Good to see the talbot manual made it safe south. Dont worry about remembering names, im rubbish aswell 😅

I prefer using them for mugs-keep tea on hand when working 😅
@Furious Tea Break Haha 😄 well we are on a Tea break channel ☕️
The fit of the air vent bezels will give it away; plastic dash models have a gap, wooden ones fit nice and snug :)

Too much coffee this morning?

Thanks Davy, yeah that toffee is amazing, not had one like that before! And Mini Boy did make me laugh!

I sped it all up to watch back and check in the edit but must have not selected that clip to reset the speed...!
Wow you need a nice bit of wood to put your Rover plaque on.

Fingers crossed it goes well then!
Weird stuff with the speed but you got some great stuff here! That Philips Mini radio has a cassette player, very cool, I hope you'll fit that one 👍🏻😀

RUclips 0.5 speed to the rescue. The Merc is gonna bite you if you keep on using it as a table.
First 😊

@@furiousteabreak7892 I thought it was intentional because you felt like you were going on and on a bit and just fast forwarded yourself 😂
I much prefer the real wood dash parts
