@@Zallen25 Just be prepared to team read your opponents lines based on their leads. If they’re most likely to have a harder talon answer in the back, then you’ll want to bring your talon in then and save the lickilicky for the back and vice versa
@@KPine unfortunately team reading and predicting what’s in the back is one of the things I’m least skilled at 😅 I gave this team a try and I’m just not good at using it. Went 4-11. It was very frustrating to lose despite winning lead (usually Talonflame). It doesn’t help that my Lickiliky is rank 306 (per PvPoke it loses two win compared to the rank one). It felt very clunky that after the first 10 matches I had to swap it for Dunsparce. It’s a good team but needs player with above average skill to use it.
Thanks for this team. Managed to climb out of Ace finally 😭 I swapped out Lickilicky for dunsparce since I don't have a good Lickilicky for great league.
Thanks for the break down and the great team. All of the sudden started seeing Breloom/Chesnaught leads with double incinerators itb. or magcargo lead with double grass. Is there anyway of beating those?
@@hedorah71 Ches leads are tough but you need to pivot to lickilicky right away. I’ll shield their move if they throw one before they pivot out. Magcargo lead double grass should just be an instant win. When they bring in their grass type, you just pivot talon right away and should keep alignment without going down shields. That way you keep lickilicky for their second grass type which should be able to neutralize it enough on even shields :)
@@KPine ..thing is with the magcargo double grass is they’ve kept either Breloom or Chesnut as their last grass. Noticed Jonkus had uploaded a Breloom double incinerate video, hence the spike. So it will probably give rise to counter teams in which this team should be able to handle more easily. Thanks for the reply!
@@honigson8776 If you play out the 2s and make sure to throw on good timing, the last aqua tail should come down to dre. So sometimes you’ll make that move and others you’ll get farmed down 😅
@@Boeyjangles It should come down to DRE every time. So you theoretically “should” get the move if the game functions as intended, but unfortunately you’ll tend to get ko’d with the move more often than it activating. So it’s a risk to take

So follow up to this… not switching in fast enough when Cradily came in was killing me… everyone seemed to be running Cradily, but if the switch is fast enough, Lickilicki could handle it… got better with more use and Talonflame is a sweeper
@@KPine absolutely SLAPS. I've picked up 250 elo today alone in 4 sets with this team. 16-4. 2 losses were definite wins but the game froze and the battle couldn't be recovered. 2 were Serperior leads with Shadow Water back lines that I just couldn't overcome.
Update: Legend has been reached with this team!! 🥳

My quag loses the flygon matchup hard. ITS decent iv s but get's farmed down and i get rps ed afterwards with the Same Team u used for the Last 2 days

It must be IV dependant because I've lost 3 shadow quag leads in a row throwing on normal timing and am 1 mud shot off the final aqua tail.

I've found that nobody respects solar beam on Lickilicky. It makes flipping switch so easy.
