I knurled the adjustment knob on my lathe, much easier to use now. Anyone have an idea on how to anchor this bender to something other than a bench ?I want something really slid.

Use some lag bolts to hold it down to whatever surface you prefer.

I wish they made the shaft that the handle goes on threaded in the center for a bolt so that way it can't slip and fly off

It should work with hard metals, you may need to apply a little more elbow grease!
Also, if you buy it directly from Vevor (link in description) then if it doesn’t work for you they will accept a return.

So... is it a TUBE bender, or a PIPE bender. As you know, 1" tube is on the outside diameter, and 1" pipe is inside diameter. I need one to do 1/2" TUBE. In the video you keep saying PIPE. So it's confusing me.

It is marketed as a pipe bender. However, it should be able to bend a tube. Check out the link in the description and you’ll see the product details.

The Amazon listing states the OD size measurements. So tube bender. Pipe generally has a much thicker wall and would require a larger more industrial pneumatic bender with pipe specific dies. I don't really know of anyone who bends pipe...
