I don't like them they are too springy and I like knurling that bites into my hands. I like a stiff bar for squat and bench press. If you have one of those springy bars you waste a lot of energy flexing the bar before it moves. I don't know about weightlifting.

@@GeorgeZimmermen Someone should make bars that are straight within .003" across 7 feet. Use a 310 stainless steel metal matrix composite with silicon carbide fibers. Use a ZrO/SiC bushing fitted into the sleeve after it is cooled in liquid nitrogen. Friction weld M2 steel ends onto the shaft that are machined and super finished to be within +0/-.000050" of the bushing ID. People would be lined up way down the road to buy that bar.

Are these bars "stainless steel"? Is it ok to leave them outdoors in the rain and weather?

Sadly, Eleiko still does not make a stainless steel barbell; SIGH!

you still shouldn't leave a stainless bar outside it can still get corrosion and you will get grime in the collars

If you “love” your barbells never leave them outdoors, rather take good care of them and they’ll last you a lifetime.

Like others have said, it is not recommended. This is however their toughest barbell, if you care to try:
