He clearly hasn’t been training only recently since he has a wide knowledge of fighting, plus against Vidal was throwing a lot of good feints that only a recent novice wouldn’t do, did he train a lot when he was younger but not fight on an amateur level? I've heard him talk about doing Muay Thai before. From what I remember it seemed like something he did in his early 20s for 1-2 years and he did compete (fights or tournaments) I don't think it was really high-level but that was his fighting experience. I think he's also been a sports nerd to where he really dives deep into learning about the sports he's interested in.
I would not be shocked if Hs doesnt take it serious an either pulls out or gasses and loses. Some guys with all the gifts have the least amount of drive
