- When visiting New Zealand it is possible to assume that the best city in New Zealand is Wellington. Wellington is the Capitol of New Zealand and the second largest city. In this travel tour from around Wellington we explore the cable car, the botanical gardens and Cuba Street. Also around the waterfront and the City Centre CBD of Wellington.
This video was filmed using a GoPro Karma Grip and Go Pro 7. Some of the videos are filmed using a DJI Mavic 2 drone and an iPhone XS.

Born and raised in New York and I love Wellington. Something about it’s size and pace along with the beautiful nature surrounding it. Just a cool place that’s different from so many places I’ve been.

I've been to New Zealand twice and fell in love with it. Been to Taruanga, Rotorua, Hobbiton twice and all the areas near there. Next time we want to take the Kiwi rail from Auckland to Wellington once this virus is dealt with.
You need to do the top of the South Island. Able Tasman National park you will love it

Have the memory of this far flung, crisp country during my not long enough sojourn there; did not make it to Wellington but I remember the sparseness and the bleakness of this land together with the good coffee and the cleanliness of the place, as well as the strong local aborigine culture; it all seemed like it happened in another life, a dream? will probably never reach NZ again

No herbs sold in Cuba Street shops! Illegal. The Botanical Gardens are beautiful. There are the original brick stables still there from horse- drawn days. On Lambton Quay you see signs on the footpath indicating that this was the original shoreline before reclamation. Visit Queen's Wharf and Customhouse Quay. Original brick and stone bond and custom stores from the sailing ship era.
Great dive spots around Wellington coastline and Marine Reserve at Island Bay. You can get to it by suburban bus!
