I’ve heard her talk about being in foster care but this is the 1st time I’ve seen her cry about it. Heartbreaking.
MrsBalanceSheet I thought the same thing. It started with her talking about seeing her mom in the police car. She really loves her mom. I didn't know she was still alive until she said near the end that she's trying to get her out of the institution. Tiffany is so awesome and blessed. Who could not be rooting for this woman to WIN!

Ugh. She has such expressive and beautiful EYES. When she described the events that led up to being placed in foster care it was like seeing her revert back to that moment as a child. And the fact that she masks a lot of her pain with being playful, laughing and whatnot--you just can't not love her. She grew from the hard stuff and chose to succeed.
Tiff needs a therapist, with a great sense of humor. I would love to explain why she Is, "The Last Unicorn". The world feels her pain. But, God has blessed her with the ability to see the Joy inside her tears, and the world adores her for it. Her passion, is fierce and needs nurturing, she knows what I mean. I would do it free. I would sign 59 nine confidentiality forms and wear a blindfold during our therapy sessions. I am an Alpha Father with skills.

This is a devastating story! And we're sitting here with her laughing. I hope she was able to get counseling for all this trauma she experienced. We can't just make jokes out of trauma and think we'll just get over it. The trauma always comes back to haunt you in other ways.

Her comedy is her therapy the same way Oprah never went into counseling, however, her talk show helped maybe millions having experienced childhood trauma.
Most African Americans are traumatized from slavery, we never got any counseling.

Not only that, but he was the reason the brakes failed. He cut the brake line hoping her mother would die and he’d get insurance money... apparently he was on drugs at that time but even then, that’s still absolute garbage

I saw her getting a pedicure a few weeks ago her in Decatur, Georgia. When I tell you she has one of the most authentic and effervescent spirits that I have ever seen. She was so down to earth sitting among everyone getting services in the hood as if she was just a regular girl from around the way. Beautiful with no Hollywood-ness about. God bless this sweet lady. She is a jewel.

She used to go in depth about the car accident. How her step dad tried to kill her mom and all of the kids. Tiffany was 8 and taking care of her younger siblings for days before they found out her mom was in the hospital.
I love this women the fact that she looks at life in such a positive way in spite of the challenges that she has endured we can all take a lesson from this beautiful strong women

It's hard for me to cry but when she start telling about when she got put in foster made me cry... I don't have kids and I'm 34 but my mom is diagnosed with the same thing her mom's is diagnosed with, I know how it is for your mom to hit you for no reason but my dad that's my hero, my everything cause he was put in that same situation as her stepfather but my dad took responsibility like a man and raised 9 kids by his self... so I feel the pain you went through.. it's a blessing that you made it through all the pain and came out more beautiful than ever god bless

Ouch, that hit a little close to home. Brought back some memories that were apparently self suppressed. I'm sure, my (Now Deceased) Mom did some thangs (Real Talk) in the 60's, 70's especially the 80's to keep it (Us) together as a single Mother of 5 (back 2 back) babies. So, Tiff your testimony (yo face (value)), spoke to me louder than your words, because sometimes......there are No Words, to heal the pain, but I do know "Prayer Changes Thangs" !!!
