I appreciate how this game lets me skip all the horrible parts of moving (the packing and actual moving of stuff), and just focus on what’s actually satisfying about it: putting everything into its new, proper place.
Ikr
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
This is like a moving out expansion
a perfect way to procrastinate instead of actually doing that part IRL lol
But where is the take out food? There has to be a rest place right?
I love this indie revolution of modern gaming, we used to shoot aliens, kill bad guys and more, now we do ✨chore simulator✨
Because it's more satisfying doing chores in a simulator than IRL 😅😅😅
It's a strange thing. Even in the old days, such video games were quietly released by small companies (in my country, hamster-herding games for girls and fishing games were often released).
When they are released in the modern world, everyone is in awe of them.
Yh
Let's be honest, we're more likely to complete virtual chores since there's no real world consequences 🙃
Hahaha
"Dad, I can't do my chores, I'm busy doing them in this Unpacking videogame!"
😂😂😂😂
"Whoa virtual yard work!" 😂
@Sir Monster su!
@Sir Monster
please stop. your going to get less subs from doing this. Please dont advertise your own channel plz :)
I love your typhlosion pic😁
This is a lot to unpack.
This deserves more likes
rimshot moment
Best one yet 😂
“Aaa what an innocent and wholesome game I’m not going to buy it but I’m glad it’s here”

Lmao
Didn't see it coming, lol.
🤣 who doesn't want a suicide simulator packed into their games?!
@@CheesyLizzy please dont. It will be a lot scarier and more painful then you might think
@@CheesyLizzy please do not kill yourself, especially like that! You have so much to live for and even if things seem bleak right now they will get better! Trust me trying to end it is not worth it, no only would it cause you alot of physical pain, but it would also hurt the people who truly care about you!
I used to think that if I was gone then everyone would be happy but then I discovered how much the people I cared about also cared a lot about me back. Back when I was really depressed I felt that I was just in the way and that everyone's lives would be better without me. I was wrong, especially after seeing how much it was hurting my friends after I talked about it.
The same applies to you. Things aren't easy and life can be a real jerk sometimes, but there is so many good things about living. From getting to experience all the fun moments in life to just seeing the smiles of the people you care about. You deserve to live and be happy, just keep on living OK? Eventually you'll find that it's worth it.
As someone who has lived at home all my life, this kind of fulfills my fantasies of wanting to move out from my parents. Thank you.
It’s the closest most millennials will get to having a real home. I’m looking forward to what the adulthood simulation genre gives us next.
@@donglegs I think they mean home owners? My parents still don't own a home lmao they're millenials
@@Jonpoo1 yeah thats sadly true... with all the plot prices going up insanely and how owning your own house is unable to maintain because of the costs.
@@donglegs HECK YEAH! RENT 4 LYFE~*~*~ end me. 🙃
@@Jonpoo1 i think you might mean gen z, its like a 50/50 chance to say millennials(if even that), im a millennial(though i do admit, barely)and im living with my partner, have been for years, though i might be a bit lucky with that in some ways, the youngest millennials are like mid-late twenties and thats the expected age to be no longer living with your parents, at least where i live, i know it can be different in other places
however, i dont know how different it is since i never lived/grew up in those other places, i just know how i grew up and how im living now, im at the age that im definitely am to be expected to not being living with my parents anymore
i also know that times are gettin tougher with finical stuff, so maybe it has changed, but i dont think by much, after all the older millennials are most likely not living with their parents anymore
Finally.
A game about cleaning my room.
Jogo de mula
Clean your room, bucko!
More like filling your room with stuff
@@Jonqen 😂😂😂
@@Jonqen for real. Making a giant mess all over the house
Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer is looking great.
Can't wait to put a toaster in my villagers bathtubs
Haha that's exactly why I wanna play this
If I get burned out of animal crossing, I know what game I'm playing next.
Not going to lie! This trailer looks relaxing and satisfying at the same time
And then the toaster appeared.
sometimes, thats all you need
Wow! What a hot take!
@@BigMastah79 some might be even call it... An electrifying comment
Not exactly a hot take. Many things happen to be both relaxing and satisfying
This looks like it'll be wholesome, rage inducing, and bittersweet at the same time 😌
Exactly 😌💜
WELL PUT 💯
Nothing more wholesome than suicide by toaster in the bathtub imma rite
i love how we live in a time where doing chores is considered gaming
i'm not even dissing this game, it looks genuinely fun, is this what it feels like to be an adult?
@@rudolphtheteddy9644 I don’t think so, it’s just a stress reliever.
No. Real life is much worse
This looks like there should be some kind of horror twist in it or something.
No disrespect to people who enjoy those kinds of things, but I despise the whole "cute game is actually gory/horrific/edgy" trope. 😅 As someone who can't stand horror, and loves relaxing, innocent fun, it's annoying to see a game with an aesthetic I love just to see the tag 'psychological/survival horror'. 🙄
Well If you find something similar let me know
Yes wait omg
RIGHT. I saw the toaster in the bath and immediately thought that
Actually no it wouldn’t just go and play your horror games bc not everything calm and relaxing game as to be horror
I finished playing this last night and I gotta say, I absolutely loved it! But it’s really short, about 3-4 hours of gameplay, so I would suggest getting this during a sale.
With that being said, I really hope they add more to the game in the future, perhaps unpacking for a different person with a fresh new story!
This game does a great job at telling the story with just the context of the items, and how they evolve throughout the years, just like a person would!
Does it require an online membership? I really wanna buy it but i don’t wanna subscribe to the online membership
This seems like the kind of game I would play to avoid tidying up in real life
Same
For those wondering, the Steam reviews are currently mixed! People really love the atmosphere and style of the game, the look in general is very beautiful! But the game has about 4 hours without collecting secrets and achievements for $20 you're spending! In short, it's pretty... but short!
5$ per our... At least 1.25$ spend for play 10 minutes. I would think still work, but maybe wait 5 or 6 months until the game have a discount in the EShop maybe 🤔
@@TuckerswordsINC and this is a switch launch trailer
I think it'd be better if they roll out free updates and dlc down the line to give it more content
It'll probably be on sale after the launch hype is over.
Worth the charm
Been waiting for this for a while now, hope it's quite replayable!
Unfortunately, its not.. Its very short and puzzles are easy. And you will see same stuff over and over again. Nothing new. Well you can spend more time to organize things tho
It is
Played it 3 times all the way through now
This game reminds me of the computer learning games they had in school back in the 90's, one game they had was where your underwater solving math problems, if you win you get the buried treasure if you lose you get eaten by a shark.
I saw the Twitter post praising the audio and programming work of having EACH item’s specific ways of interacting with basically countless combinations. This is such a relaxing game if you’re the type who constantly move things in your room/ house for no good reason :3
I've played this for a few hours now and it's sooo satisfying, very much recommend. I love how they convey a story without words
I have been following this journey in their TikTok page and oh my goodness am I SO excited for playing
Same!
Same! I didn’t know it came out today though! I’m so excited
They’re really making games out of anything nowadays
True
Don't worry, we'll get a comment section simulator soon
The magic of gaming baby!
We have strand-type games, soup-type games, youtuber-type games, unpacking-type game and the list goes on

I am 100% getting this! It’s completely my style of game. Relaxing, simple, and you get to organize things! The best part of moving, for me, was always getting to put everything in its new place. So this is gonna be a LOT of fun.
Playing this game, listening to moody music, while it’s raining at night is the best feeling ever.
I like this videogame. This is relaxing.
It has a toaster tub
I’m sorry this looks fun, but how does a game about unpacking have that many awards lol
Because it's probably an fun game lol
The same reason a puzzle game like Tetris is considered one of the best games of all time: sorting and putting things in order is extremely satisfying for a lot of people, so if you build an equally satisfying gameplay loop around it you could end up with a very, very fun game.
A game don’t need great action or a memorable story for people to love it.
@@CrossfacePanda This is well said.. so glad that we are now in an era of gaming that chill stuff is being made along with the "normal" games like sure I could get into a zen smashing demons but sometimes I need something actually zen
@@BaconNuke And the best part: they are more reasonably priced.
Because we definitely had stuff like this back in the day (especially during the super experimental PSX era of the late 90’s). But they were priced the exact same as every other game. And as much as I loved puzzle games, when I was a kid with a limited budget and had to choose between a short puzzle game and a big action game/50 hour RPG, I had to prioritize the latter, as the money value just made more sense. Now granted, they kinda HAD to charge that much because physical production and distribution was expensive for all games regardless of genre, but for the customer it didn’t make as much sense.
Nowadays, we get to buy games like this for $15-$20, which is a lot more reasonable. And I love how it’s allowed games like this be viable again in the last decade or so, compared to the mid-2000’s when it became more and more unfeasible outside of portable consoles and browser games.
@@CrossfacePanda Honestly $20 feels overpriced for a game like this
Like I’m sure it’s great and I wanna play it but the amount of content displayed here seems... very disproportionate for it’s price.
This looks so simple yet engaging, with a concept I never would have thought of. Something I didn't know I needed but now totally want.
I love how te pig plushie changes over the years
I love this, I’ve always been bad at organizing and decorating but this could let me practice and finally get the hang of it!!
Extremely fun game and even if they speak little to no words the plot line is amazing.
so excited for this!! the polish is delightful and I'm excited for the subtle narrative.
This is such a well made game. There is so much more story than you'd think. And it's satisfying!
i did a transcript for an interview with the creators of this game. it sounded so fun and interesting, im glad it's finally here!
Can we see that interview link?
I’m downloading this on my switch right now and I’m so excited it looks calming and fun
The pixel graphics are soo good and the animations immensely satisfying 😍
I absolutely love this pixel art.
I can’t wait to do on my switch what I’ve been putting off in real life. What a time to be alive!
Finally, a game where I don't have to pay for what's in the box.
Ok. This is strangely relaxing and satisfying. The perfect game for someone with OCD
I like this relaxing videogames
Very relaxing
I was wondering what this game was on the eShop, now I know. This is very interactive too, I love those types of games
"Mom can't say my room is filth ever again."
*Cleans room on the switch while living in a hoarded room.* 😆 🤣 😂
I want it now
a game about unpacking boxes has 12 awards?
This scratches a very deep and basal part of my brain
I’ve had my eye on this game. And it feels like a sneak preview of what I will be doing when I move into my first apartment.
I am utterly obsessed with this!
i’m moving into a new apartment next week. cant wait to play this game instead of packing irl
This looks very interesting. I wasn't expecting this.
Ok but why does this look like a very soothing game to play if you just need to unwind.... WHY DO I WANT IT
So cute and retro
omg this looks so calm and fun
Beat the game today, loved it to bits
Super relaxing!! Will play it!
And politicians would have you think that videogames with boxes are bad. This looks cozy.
This is so cute!!
unpacking irl stresses me out but i need this
i already love cleaning my room irl i’m excited to play this game after i’m finished cleaning
Been wanting to have a game like this for so long!!
the Storytelling in this Game is nice
The speedruns of this game is gonna look great
This one sparks joy.
This game looks so peaceful!!
This looks very satisfying I might just get this if it’s on sale or something
Been following this game’s development on TikTok for ages now, and I can’t wait for its release!!
This game looks so freaking satisfying!
Ich hab immernoch Kisten von meinem letzten Umzug zuhause stehen. Und mit 'Unpacking' endlich noch nen Grund um das auspacken nach hinten zu schieben 😄
This looks like a fun game to play in your free time
I wonder if every room has a "correct" solution or is it more just "get stuff out of box"? I did notice the toaster but dunno if you can "beat" that level with it there.. only saw you get a sticker.. which means.. in-game achievements.. oh no am I gonna stress over a zen game trying to see what gets me stickers?
The default setting has "correct" solutions, but you can tick that off in the settings and instead place every item freely.
@@Fancypenguin1 Okay so just shoving a toaster in a bathtub and towels on a desk would "solve" stuff if you switch that off?
@@BaconNuke It will just declare the level complete once all items are packed out of the boxes, rather than additionally demanding a spesific placement.
Also, there is alternatives to were to "correctly" put your stuff when this setting is on. A toaster can be put close to a power plug or stored somewere like into a cabinet or a shelve or something like that for example.
Unpacking 2: "Packing it up! ...again" xD
Looks good but I'm personally looking forward to the game that simulates doing the dishes.
It seems so relaxing
This game looks relaxing and very satisfying
It looks really cute!
*BEST STUFF EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!*
That audio design is amazing
This will be the first game I would buy when I get my switch oled
I love this game sm
Omg this looks so satisfying 😩😩😩
This feels like the chilled game ever made
This seems like a game I'd love
OMG Cactus Carts! I loved that game!
I just brought this game on Nintendo shop just a hour ago I actually like it so far.
Seems like a cute and relaxing game
When u don’t like unpacking on real life but doing it virtually is therapeutic🤣
Definitely looks like my type of game!
Wow, well there's a lot to unpack with this trailer.
I played the demo. It was so relaxing.
this reminds me of the games i’d play as a kid !! ahhhh🥰🥰🥰
It’s what I do all the time around my flat moving stuff around (much to my husband’s frustration as he can never find where I put things 😂😉) in a game. Once I get bored of ACNH 2.0 and HHP (if that’s possible!) I’ll be giving this a go.
well it's very great home, i think i'm loved it.
Great exclusive to the chore expansion pack
Looks nice, maybe I’ll get it
Wow, that is a lot to unpack!
Yes! A game that speaks to me
The music is chill
Such a nice chill game
This game would stress me out I hate arranging things I get overwhelmed 😂😭
i feel the same. i feel stress out just looking at the boxes lol
Can’t wait for a unboxing of this game.
Damn....crazy how much I like this lol humans are so strange.
This game makes me want to cry 😭
