Everyone's video was showing that "place here" option is already there when you open the mockup. This is the first video that showed me how to create it. Thank you
Thank this has really helped me. I have been banging my head for ages trying to do this. I've just done my first Art Mockup, really excited to do more. :)
OH EM GEE GIRL U saved MEEEE!!!! Thank U!!!! I had to do this 5 times to remember the steps but it was hard to find this INVALUABLE info..thank u thank u!!!! god bless
Thanks. I've been looking a long time for a video that explains this easily. Even Photopea's own doc's on Smart Objects is useless for trying to create mockups like this. Other video's used pre-created PSD files with the layers already in place, or they seem to miss basic steps. What you clued me into here was the File/Open&Place rather than just dragging and dropping an image into the Smart Object layer which does not work!
Hey Quiz Edu, I'll add it on my to-do. There's not a lot of people who watch those videos though but I'll try. In the meantime have a look at this mockup video it's a little bit more complex that this 2 min one, ruclips.net/video/LtbF7DI4BR8/видео.html
great advice, tried finding a video like this before yours popped in. How about wavy mock up images like a shirt? do you have a video allready on how to do those with designs? thanks.
Sorry, no I haven't done any on a Tshirt. The closest I've done was to add a logo on a Tshirt mockup on this video ruclips.net/video/wSu-qPgGR2Y/видео.html
@@LearnwithZar so do you use the same method to blend a logo on a tshirt? T-shirts are difficult because they may have creases and folds, and sometimes the model is not standing straight. It's ok if you don't have the time to make the video :)
@@woopee1677 I completely agree, Tshirts are a pain. I do like a challenge :) we'll see if I can make time for this one. I would, I would use my Warp tool if I had to use my own model and Tshirt. Otherwise I would use a mockup, whether on Canva or pick one of my own from unblast.com or freepik and make my life easier that way.
@@LearnwithZar Thank you! And I am sure all your videos will be of help to many people around the world. The viewership will definitely grow over time!

Have been looking for this tutorial for such a long time, Thank You! I would like to learn how to create a bed sheet mockup that shows the top of the sheet distorted, where the design becomes smaller as the image recedes further away from the front vertical edge of the mattress. Does anyone know how this is accomplished?
Just discovered your channel about a week ago and am finding it very helpful. Thank you! I've placed pictures on pictures before to make it look like it's actually there but when you use a mockup to show a 2D graphic in 3D, how does the mockup do that? In other words, if I want to take a photo of my office building and place my 2D logo on the front in 3D, how do I get that converted to 3D? Thank you!
Thanks for finding me and for watching, much appreciated 🙏👊🏼. This is a puzzle, we'll figure it out. My thoughts are to take a building Mockup that's already exist, eg. on PSD template or download one from unblast.com. replace their building photo on layers with yours and follow the normal steps of converting 2D to 3D using the Photopea canvas. I haven't tried it before but you've given me a video idea, I'll come back to you, but let me know if you figure it out first.
@@LearnwithZar thank you! I thought it was something obvious that I was just missing. I only play with this when I have free time so I suspect you'll figure it out before I get to play with it again!
I figured it out, you were right it wasn't hectic at all. You would find a PSD mockup that has the 3D mockup you like, you can even move the placement of where your 3D logo would end up to exactly where you want. Then replace the background picture with your own office picture. Double click on the 'your logo here' layer, and place your 2D on the canvas and follow the normal process.
@@LearnwithZar Thank you! I did spend 5 minutes on trying something like this yesterday but could not get it to work. I ended up with my office picture on a different tab because I didn't know what I was doing. I'm not experienced with layers (I usually use Luminar AI). I'll try again but if you do create a video on this, it would certainly help! Thanks again!
thankyou so much! I just wondered... I am trying to create a button pin mockup that is very shiny. But when I place my design over the top of it, all the shine is lost and it is very flat and 2 dimensional looking. I tried to lower transparency to hopefully allow some of the shine through but it just faded my design. Any suggestions on a button I can press to acheive what I'm trying to do here? Thanks heaps :)

Thanks a lot for your video, it helped me a lot, but I have a problem, when I open and place the new image, it gets very pixelated, even though actually I,m using very good quality image, do you know a solution for this? thank you in advance!
I need some help, please. I am trying to do this technique with a 20 oz. Tumbler cup and I am not able to curve/distort the rectangle. Will you be able to show us how to do that? Also, I am trying to figure out how to create a Smart mockup template with someone holding the cup in hand. It would surely be appreciated. Your instructions are quite clear. Unfortunately for me, if instructions are not exactly what I need it for, I'm lost.
