Seems so simple, but when I turned on the Chroma Key nothing happened, my footage is still green. Are you working with Filmora 12? What should I do.....

Yes, I did figure this one out. The problem with Filmora is that sometimes it works, sometimes if does not! It became so bad that I gave up and now don't make videos anymore. I was so fed up of so many glitches...... when it works it is very simple, you just find the icon above the timeline, on your left, where you see a lot of icons, click on it and it is done. Once I was wearing something green and therefore that bit would disappear if I used the Chroma Key. After some research I found out that I could use the AI Portrait or the Smart Cut Out but then again, in the beginning they both worked, then they didn't again, so my video although really nice, looks a mess. A guy from Filmora asked me to send all the files and he would do it... but never did! So much time wasted............ they put me off videos forever! And gave me my money back. Remember that those making tutorials online are most paid by the software, they are some kind of "influencers" and will therefore not point out the shortcomings!

@@FranciscaRigaud that’s unfortunate asf i find filmora easy to use and i’m tryna expand on my youtube videos, i’m dishearten to hear u gave up i hope u find ur way again when it comes to video editing, everything happens for a reason maybe ur on a better path doing better things now i hope u the best!

@@bnobbynob Thanks for your reply. Actually I ended up giving up on video editing and singing too. I just got so very tired... I was until late at night on the phone to the technicians from Filmora, on most days, then other features were not working properly either.... which made me waste many hours doing everything by hand, while they had advertised that it was all done by AI, that wrecked a video I had put so much care into.... I think that the AI features were not working at all well, and if they would the first time you used them, then they would stop... it was all a huge mess. Maybe one day I get into video editing again, but it is not easy to find one that is really reliable and does what they advertise they should do. For now I have started to sing again.

that isn't what filmora looks like on my phone, those options do not exist while editing footage, really thinking it is not worth the subscription
