WARNING: SPOILER ARLERT!! The fact that i love how Yumeko take things serious in this movie instead of gambling for fun like she used to with the student council. You can she her killing look for Shikigami when she saw Mary on the projector. She knew that Shikigami sure are a real threat and an a-hole dude. Eventhough she said she's doesn't care abt friend and gambling is her number one insterest, you can really see her instant kill mode at the final Roulette round and the moment Mary appeared holding Yumeko's letter. She really want to get revenge on Shikigami, take him down once and for all if she really got the bullet, not just simply torture his mind like the way Kirari did.

Fact was that the moment before Kirari pull the last bullet, Yumeko has finally confessed herself to Shikigami. She admitted that in the end of the "Texas Poker Hold'em Black" game, she was so angry and embrassed when she had to surrender for the first time ever. The side that we've never seen in the original manga. Her character development in LA was shown more of her personality than anime or manga. (This "Russian Roulette" arc and the "Village" arc was not in the original manga, those were from a spin-off novel). Inconclusion, she's still the same old gamble queen Jabami Yumeko but more of a "good friend" in LA (novel) version.
