After this video, the band decided not to produce another music video in which they are not allowed to speak themselves. The video producer has previously produced commercials (for beer).

You are so close at the end 😂 the song is to commemorate the German sailors who lost their lives at sea during WW2.
Some people may find it controversial but the Germans fought a square and proper battle at sea and that military branch wasn't connected to the darker side of things.
In the lyrics you hear: You're standing with a lantern with tears in your eyes. And at the end he says I'm cold, cold ,cold... So this is a woman waiting for her love who was sunk at sea. And they (the townsfolk) only speak of your mother.
The song Nebel is the better ballad.
