Very helpful. I took apart my air brush to clean it. I am a beginner and I freaked out. Until I saw this. Thanks mate!. Just one thing to add. The trigger goes into the hole below from where the pressurised air comes. Just add that little detail as it seems to be missing. I had a hard time guessing where to fit the trigger. Cheers!!
@@WatchItPaintIt OMG! Aint that the truth!! I too am new and was a nervous wreck thinking the same thing as @arshadhasan, that I wouldn't get it back together.Everything came apart and went back together just fine... until the trigger. So I was trying to figure out does the little piece on the bottom of the trigger ( the part that bends back and forth) does that go inside the hole that i saw inside the brush or does that bottom part lay flat or where the heck does it go! So I fiddled with it for like an hour until it finally seated itself properly, so I knew it was in right, but I still don't know where that very bottom of the trigger went to, if it laid flat or if it went into that hole?? Oh boy!!! Thanks so much for a GREAT vid, I musta watched 10 ones on how to take apart and put the brush back together, but you finally gave me the courage to just, DO IT Patty!!! lolol
Thank you. You called the anxiety attack. My very first airbrush, I took it apart and was terrified I was about to break something. That trigger guard part made me feel better because that was the worst part. Thanks again!
IF YOU HAVE THE AMAZON MEEDEN AIRBRUSH! : Put the trigger in, then the needle (the guard is on the needle) turn the whole thing upside down so the guard falls through the gap behind the trigger. screw everything back on!
Very helpful. But, when I took mine apart to do the deep cleaning, the spring came out and now, being a beginner, I can’t put it back in. Or I’m trying to put it in the wrong spot. Does it go before the trigger in that part of the casing? Or behind it?
I got a airbrush a while back but never use it due to not having the time to break it down each time i get a free moment to paint. Do you half to break them down each time ?
No - only for a deep clean, which you don't need to do very often. For a fast clean, tip the extra paint from the cup into a waste container, add water to the cup a few times and dump that out, then add some cleaner and swish that around with a brush, dump. Then just spray a bit of cleaner and water thru the end of the brush to finish it off. Takes 2 minutes to clean it that way. You only need to take the airbrush apart if it's constantly clogging. Even then you can usually get away with pulling out the needle, cleaning and lubricating it and then put it back. Hope that helps!
I recently just got an airbrush gun and took it apart of course i had my anxiety attack! but now its a panic attack because after 3 hours of learning how to assemble it back now the gun is just spraying air and not the product I cleaned it out already as well but i dont know what it might be I am seeing that it might be the needle chucking guide any advice or suggestions on what it might be ?
People beyond the Neanderthale-era are fully capable of pulling out needles out the back of Airbrushes… Sorry, but this comment comes up on each Airbrush-video… and it’s a nonsense comment.
@@guylaindeschenes9793 It's true. After reading that comment I looked at my airbrush and thought "is there a secret way of removing the needle I don't know about??" :D
Thank u. I just bought an air brush, and it arrived put together wrong. You saved me from the hassle of returning it and beginning the search again.

Yeah the trigger & trigger guard are the most annoying parts to re-attach.

How do you operate it with a compressor
Thank you I thought I post a piece but turned out that it was just in the wrong place
While it is disassembled, lightly lube the moving parts and the needle.
Yes indeed! I was going to do a cleaning video later and mention that :)

What if my needle chuckle guide and my needle dont come apart? they are like 1 piece?
Same
@@ajdominique8519 I managed to figure out my airbrush. Trial and error. :/
Why does your handle look like a sonic screwdriver?
Because it an airbrush is a piece of Sci-Fi from the 60s

Sometimes it's the trigger mechanism, but it's hard to tell without seeing it. Is the trigger guard pressing snugly against the trigger?
You really sounded like Kermit the frog after his voice broke !
I lost my trigger guard. It wasn't this model. I'm stuck
Oh no!
learning to hate the trigger gurad XD
Let's just skip the annoying part
Please dont pull your needle from the back, you chance bending the tip

I’ve literally never seen it pulled out any other way
I always do it very gently!
With this model of needle, the only way to remove it is from the back. Look at the blue part at the end of the needle and you will understand.
