But Al Ashrouf never had a proper rice combination to go with it. So i think when that type of masala flavoured chicken was given with a proper mandi rice, it was a hit.

Mutton Haneed from Mehrab is epic and my al time favourite in Kochi , But other dishes are just average in my opinion. Even when the ambience is good the staff behaviour was shokam every time I visited
I liked the Mutton Mandfoon from Tikka and Kebab ameen and the one I tried from Dubai than Mehrab actually. Maybe it's just the matter of difference in tastebuds and preperations. i know there are a lot of fans even now and i respect your opinion but normal mandi at alreem is the type of mandi that i absolutely hate now , i only like al-faham from alreem. i have been having it from 1st outlet in nedubaserry when it opened while i was in college. The normal chicken mandi is just a well cooked blant chicken with absolutely no vikaram at all in my opinion, so I despise it. I feel the only reason why alreem was popular then and even now is due to unlimited rice at an affordable pricing in my opinion
Spicy Special Chicken Mandhi from Arabian Palace is the only chicken mandhi I like from Kerala, I hate the normal chicken mandhi (a bland vikaram illatha tasteless well cooked chicken nothing more imo) from Al-Reem. respect your opinion though.
