Ok I just made the sauce today and froze it in individualized ziplocks for later. It is so amazing! Fantastic sauce! I added Trader Joe's Mushroom Umami seasoning to heighten the mushroom flavor.

Kris, I have the brown sauce simmering. In the video you didn't add the Worcestershire Sauce but in the written recipe it goes right into the brown sauce so I followed that. Wondering if I still need to put Worcestershire Sauce on the mushrooms while they are cooking as I already have 2 tbsp in the sauce?
Hi Elaine! So excited that you have the brown sauce simmering right now! We add a1 or 2 tbsps to the mushrooms if they still feel dry after cooking for 3 to 4 minutes. We also include 2 tbsp to the brown sauce. And then we add another couple of 2 tbsp to the final sauce, right after the Marsala and addition of brown sauce. We just checked, and the recipe needs to reflect that final addition to the sauce. Hope this helps and thank you for letting us know about the recipe! We'll update right now! Please let us know how it turns out (and if you didn't add the Worcestershire sauce to the mushrooms, it will still be delicious!).
Kris, This recipe was sublimely delicious. Will make again for sure. I didn't have sweet Marsala so I used dry, even so it was very, very tasty. Have a fair amount of brown sauce left over and going to take a look at some of your other recipes where you have used it.

Last week I made the sauce ahead of time and froze into single serving portions. Tonight I made the chicken cutlets for me and a friend with the sauce. My friend wolfed it down between bursts of "Oh my God, this is amazing." I also served it with your stuffed tomatoes. When I brought out dessert my friend asked, "Is this another dish from the Loon's?" It was just my own lemon zuchinni bread. But I had to smile. Almost the whole meal was "One 100% Loon approved!"

That would be awesome, Aria! Sounds like a BLAST!!!!! And no, homemade beef stock isn't essential. It's adds a depth of flavor, but store-bought stock works great, too!

I would love for y’all to make a full chicken fried steak dinner. I like it with fries and mashed potatoes and enough country gravy to dip my fries in an cover the mashed potatoes but I know that is way to much starch for some people but I love it.

Any chicken marsala is better than Olive Garden chicken marsala 😂 The Olive Garden is terrible! *Note: Chicken marsala is the first dish I taught myself to cook (beyond scrambled eggs and pancakes). Still a fave! Powdered rosemary and thyme work great. You don’t have to wash & cut the fresh herbs
What they made looks delicious but it isn't chicken marsala. There is no wosrteshire sauce or brown gravy in marsala. Again looks good but isn't chicken marsala at all

How to freeze Brown sauce properly ?
Just place the brown sauce in a freezer-safer container and freeze for up to 3 months. It freezes nicely!
