Nice to see you naming the music you used in the description, especially some of the ones that may not be from this same game, although it could've been listed a bit cleaner and tidier like what I do. And when the Bomb explodes, air dodge the second time before using his Up Special the second time. *Robin* Charge his Neutral Special while full hopping to increase vertical momentum, cancel it with an air dodge at the *apex,* and then use the remaining recovery moves. His Neutral Special also reduces gravity while jumping, which gives him better horizontal recovery than dodging with it. His Side Special doesn't help him with recovery at all. If the Rebellion Gauge is almost full, Joker will use both Grappling Hook & Wings of Rebellion in one jump. Inkling could have made it if you didn't air dodge. Up b straight after the jump for a lot more verticle hight. Also use two jumps at the start because using roller gives you one extra jump
Horizontal recovery is not about height alone, that only applies to Peach, Daisy and Mr. Game & Watch. It's mainly about optimal jumps. Yes, Inkling can make it but it's harder than it looks. Air dodging was actually the right thing to do. He needed to cancel her Side Special as soon as he uses it. And when he cancels it with a jump, he has to use an aerial attack to increase her air acceleration.
Biggest surprise was definitely banjo kazooie making it to the end without the extra bonus damage. Also seeing Ike get fairly close was actually surprising
mega man can make it by using crash bomber at high percent on the wall mii swordfighter can also make it, as mashing any move after side b (include up b or another side b) makes him do the move instead of going into special fall (you don't even need to mash, the timing for it is super lenient)
Not sure if anyone else mentioned this already, but Mii Swordfighter can use that side-b again in the air as long as you buffer it before he hits freefall, so Swordfighter can definitely make it.

This is pretty well made, here are some things I pointed out: Whenever a character has to "cheat" to get to the other side (like the links getting more stamina so they launch further) it shows their icons grey. When a character, regardless of the first thing, gets to the other side, their theme will be played afterwards until another character gets to the other side (or a theme from their respective franchises.) Obviously the success thing at the top I think its in order of the characters on the select screen
I tested this with Little Mac because, as puny as he may be in the recovery field, I thought he, with some forbidden tech, could go beyond the third column. And he can. In fact, he can reach the fifth column. Here’s what you do: Run off - Jump - Down air - Down air (for extra stalling) - full Haymaker - Jump - KO Punch - Air dodge up And by air dodging up or possibly forward as well, you just barely fall into bottom left corner the fifth column. Yes, I wasted precious time labbing this, what of it?
I find the failures even more interesting to be honest. And the fact that even the worst characters still made it to the 3, and most made it to 5 even if they don't have the hight. It's just an interesting balance consideration.
0:23 link can make it without early damage, in here, You should have used Down Special twice, then Up B, would probably have to retry this tho multiple times because of the direction it will launch in.
@@colingamer5073 Link can definitely do that. In a legit way. Since timer is not a thing in these challenges he can blow up himself until 80% since bomb doesn't even stal, and then just bomb himself. At some point he could do it without jump. I know not everyone is supposed to know how to do bomb recovery, but it really triggers me when they come up with the "wait 30 seconds" solution
Their Forward Air is not for Absorbing Vortex, it's naturally good on its own. When I use Absorbing Vortex for horizontal recovery, I only B-reverse it to turn around in order to use Forward Air, like in *this* challenge for example: ruclips.net/video/Lgdwgn4xk2o/видео.html

This one hurts. You can spam it until hitting the blastzone or landing.
I completely forgot that Steve was in this game, so you can imagine my shock with he popped up
TOON LINK BAAAAABY
4:41 I couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard 😂
This video taught me that ROB has a fuel guage on the side of his body. I wish it was more visible in game.
They mentioned it in the 2018 E3 video.
Jigglypuff hitting Mario with a cursed face every time is my favourite part.
slight detail noticing the music changed whenever a character finished, and it would change to music from their game
Biggest surprise was definitely banjo kazooie making it to the end without the extra bonus damage. Also seeing Ike get fairly close was actually surprising
Never noticed the nes sound when Duck Hunt enters freefall, love you Sakurai
mega man can make it by using crash bomber at high percent on the wall
mii swordfighter can also make it, as mashing any move after side b (include up b or another side b) makes him do the move instead of going into special fall (you don't even need to mash, the timing for it is super lenient)
With Lucas, using his side B gives him momentum in the opposite direction. Might not change anything, but worth a shot
I love how Mario can’t make the jump but Luigi can.
The L stands for winner
Not sure if anyone else mentioned this already, but Mii Swordfighter can use that side-b again in the air as long as you buffer it before he hits freefall, so Swordfighter can definitely make it.
I feel Byleth should be at 3, because they would be able to grab ledge at 3, even though they're body is at 2.
Here me out here, mii brawler might be able to make it. Apparently wavebounce side b gets a lot more distance
Feint Jump's diving kick increases horizontally momentum.
I get so mad seeing Yoshi succeed at these lol.
Why? XP
What's your deal with Yoshi? Did he do something that really ticked you off?

I’m guessing the grayed out characters mean they need either a power up or a lot of damage to make it.
I think so, too

Oh my God finally someone who uses the Elwind trick with Robin you're amazing!!

4:00 Chrom is apologizing he could'nt make it
I see you made a tier based horizontal recovery challenge as well. Nice to see you naming the music you used in the description, especially some of the ones that may not be from this same game, although it could've been listed a bit cleaner and tidier like what I do. Also, you should try changing the Right Control Stick to *Special* for most characters, it's called "B-sticking". You can use Up Special or Down Special without sacrificing your horizontal momentum or accidentally using Side Special. Here are some things I want to point out:
*Mario*
His Side Special & Down Special don't really help him horizontally, but his directional air dodge does of course, therefore it's a *4.*
*Fox*
His Forward Air increases vertical momentum of his jumps, which is good for horizontal recovery. Using both Forward Air jumps instead of air dodging gets him even closer to the ledge.
*Sheik & Greninja*
They can barely make it to *5* by optimising their recoveries.
*Marth & Lucina*
Their Side Special moves actually do help them horizontally as well, but they have to quickly midair jump or air dodge to avoid losing horizontal momentum, so they can make it to *4.*
*Young Link*
This should give you some ideas on how he can make it without starting damage:
ruclips.net/video/_s40UAqzFDs/видео.html
*Roy & Palutena*
They can barely make it to *4* by optimising their recoveries.
*Zero Suit Samus*
Use the kick during Flip Jump to increase horizontal momentum, so she can make it to *5.*
*King Dedede, Cloud & Ridley*
You overrated them to *5* when they got to *4.* Cloud however can actually make it to *5* by filling up his Limit Gauge while midair jumping to increase vertical momentum. And Ridley can barely make it to *5* by optimising his recovery.
*Toon Link*
He can make it without starting damage. Do the same thing you did but with more height instead. And when the Bomb explodes, air dodge the second time before using his Up Special the second time.
*Robin*
Charge his Neutral Special while full hopping to increase vertical momentum, cancel it with an air dodge at the *apex,* and then use the remaining recovery moves. He can get really close to the ledge, so it's a *5.*
*Duck Hunt Duo*
This should give you some ideas on how they can make it without starting damage:
ruclips.net/video/WEI1Hlz3CAo/видео.html
*Mii Brawler*
Use the diving kick during Feint Jump to increase horizontal momentum, so they can make it to *5.* Better with Helicopter Kick though.
*Ryu & Ken*
Air dodging could've got them to *4.*
*Corrin*
Her Back Air helps her horizontally.
*Bayonetta*
This should give you some ideas on how she can get really close to *5:*
ruclips.net/video/Lgdwgn4xk2o/видео.html
*Inkling*
She can (barely) make it. You have to cancel her Side Special as soon as you use it. And when you cancel it with a jump, use an aerial attack to increase air acceleration.
*King K. Rool*
His Up Air has less end lag than his directional air dodge. Using 3 Up Aerials instead of air dodging gets him even closer to the ledge.
*Incineroar*
Using its Up Special before air dodging gets it even closer to *4.*
*Joker*
Jumping out of his Neutral Special sends him further than his full hop. Timing his horizontal recovery correctly gets him to *5.*
If you find some of these improvements too hard or complex, I can understand.
Hmmm it would be soooo hard but I could totally see you being able to make Duck Hunt Up B into his can halfway through and make it even at 0% haha
12:03 Ominance-AAAAAHHH
4:28 7:56 HA HA!!!!
Fox and Falco, can side and up B for recovery

I'm happy to see ALL the characters in smash try this. NO ONE is missing
This is pretty well made, here are some things I pointed out:
Whenever a character has to "cheat" to get to the other side (like the links getting more stamina so they launch further) it shows their icons grey.
When a character, regardless of the first thing, gets to the other side, their theme will be played afterwards until another character gets to the other side (or a theme from their respective franchises.)
Obviously the success thing at the top
I think its in order of the characters on the select screen
I now wanna see a bigger one with only the characters that made it across this one.
Go Team Link! We may have to take a beating first, but we'll make it through in the end 😃
Alt title: *NO PLACE FOR FIRE EMBLOS!*
I tested this with Little Mac because, as puny as he may be in the recovery field, I thought he, with some forbidden tech, could go beyond the third column. And he can. In fact, he can reach the fifth column.
Here’s what you do:
Run off - Jump - Down air - Down air (for extra stalling) - full Haymaker - Jump - KO Punch - Air dodge up
And by air dodging up or possibly forward as well, you just barely fall into bottom left corner the fifth column. Yes, I wasted precious time labbing this, what of it?
Steve & Jigglypuff & villager can do it with little to no effort
I find the failures even more interesting to be honest. And the fact that even the worst characters still made it to the 3, and most made it to 5 even if they don't have the hight. It's just an interesting balance consideration.
0:23 link can make it without early damage, in here, You should have used Down Special twice, then Up B, would probably have to retry this tho multiple times because of the direction it will launch in.
No, I don’t think he can make it like that.
I tried doing that but he was only close.
@@paoloarfelli200 He said without damage.
@@colingamer5073but so why does snake counts in this video?
Absorb down b with mii gunner after each jump increases the height they get more than usual.
Keep in mind that it reduces horizontal momentum as well.
@@STHFan1992 that's what the forward air is for.
The fact that Ridley has wings and couldn't get there but freaking Pacman could 🤣🤣🤣
