Absolutely. The torp buff has been amazing for missiles. I've been running a torp raven and it can kill everything without drones with no issue.
My torpedo range is nowhere close to cruise missiles.

Torp Golem hits to 100k WITHOUT hydras, and deals 2k DPS, I’unno man.
Just love this, now someone that actually knows how to do these missions, uses the same ship as me, (great for me to lear how to use it properly, so thx acey :D, (hope u do more vids on this :)
You could try MJD to be out of the rats range and shoot from far away, and if they come close just warp back to the first point. You are blitzing, so no need to worry about loot, and it would also be safer on cap not to run out if you get into some sticky situations
as someone who uses both, the rattlesnake with drone navigation computers, scriptless omnidirection tracking links, and x3 faction drone amps you can get 3600 m/s on gecko with a nearly 10KM optimal and 1.3 tracking on it, which just runs through L4's
I have always wanted to fly this pancake and yet have not done it since I started the game in 2011. Now I put it back on the list to work for again. Great video, but man too scary when you lost that shield so fast.
I love the Barghest. Fury cruise missiles FTW from 300km. If I went really radical, I think I was able to range up to 350km (making sacrifices to eliminate such power-hungry modules as jump drives and warp drives, however). I never use torpedoes, prefer cruise missiles. I've been using this since discovering it a better ship than the Navy Raven or the Scorpion for long-range high-damage missile boats.
Hands down the Machariel and Barghest are the best Mission Ships.
Range / Application / Speed and above all.. what a good looking set of ships!
PS AceFace, this ship in Null sec (Fountain for me) is perfect for mission running, get in MJD and cruise missile. You can blitz missions while trying to kill gankers as they burn for you :)

as much as i love barghest. it does seem to attract ALOT of attention from gank attempts.
that might just be highsec in general right now...what with goons hanging out due to null.
but bargh, with its already high hull cost. needs to be extremely careful. 0.5, 0.6, 0.7. once the gankers come and you get scrammed. its over.
While in a deadspace pocket, you're unlikely to get caught in a kitey ship like this. Just don't be sitting at zero on the point you get dropped off from the acceleration gate.

Tech 1 Typhoons are also great, as they have a missile damage application trait.
May get very similar performance for like 1/4 of the cost(!)

hey ace, a quick suggestion. if you gonna use cruise. upgrade to Caldari Navy Cruise.
they get the same bonus that Tech 2 cruise get. but also have 10% more rate of fire. meaning they are flat out superior to tech 2. even when using tech 2 ammo (specially when using tech 2 ammo)

Yestarday i bought this ship and i copied wat you put in , ofcourse still need to research cruise missile launcher lev 2, i have now level 1 and its max range is 133km and max worp speed is 4,57 and in rig for speeed is level 1 too becouse its to much money so i couldnt buy lev 2 for now but its fine with me, and tnx for showing wat did you put in and i like it. Do you have any other video maybe with torpedo or someting ealse??
I tried this fit and I run out of CPU power when trying to install the 2nd missile guidance computer...what Am i missing

I am really sorry but the moment you said "using rattlesnake but it's bad cause drones take long to get to target" I watched for 1 more minute. Stopped and wrote that comment.
1) Sentry drones?
2) MJD on your rattlesnake and u will have range and awesome DPS from sentries.
At any rate. Not a good analysis and seems to be more of a opinion thing.
Nice! Always heard Lanngisi was dangerous for missioning.

5:00 No. You dont align faster to the warp. You can see it when you compare warp speed, you can see both fits align 9.03 sec 4:50 forward you can see both align times.
