My first introduction to Tim Tams was on an outback camping trip in the 1980s. The night's could get very cold. So one of my Aussie friends pulled out a pack of Tim Rams and a bottle of Penfolds Club Port, (A fortified sweet wine). We did the same thing you were trying with coffee, only with a glass of port. The trick was to suck up the port until the Tim Tan was full then eat it. It made the cold night a bit more bearable. And it tastes great, like a liqueur filled chocolate.
They completely forgot the "Slam" part of the "Tim Tam Slam" - Clearly the most important part. Once the coffee reaches your mouth you SLAM the TAM in your gob... leaving you with an explosion of molten-chocolatey goodness coating the insides of your face hole!
Biscuits, Biscuits, Biscuits! Whoever is organizing this, please introduce this mob to Pavlova. Should be easy as all the summer fruits and berries will be coming into season. For us in the land of OZ, think Christmas, think summer, think beaches, think Pavlova!
@@SouthernTriedChannel are they really though ? In this day and age when almost everything is owned by a few ultra elite consortiums they could easily be made anywhere.

I'm British Australian, LOVE TimTams!! You need them in the US! In the UK we recently started getting them, though we can only get three flavours!
We recently started getting them too! Just original though and they’re not so easily found.
As an Australian I Can't believe it. They are Biscuits
Those look great. I would house the entire package.
Very similar to British Penguin Bars, right down to using it as a straw.

We didn’t know! May have to TRY them again!

We will keep an eye out for Pavlova!
Have you guys done Disco's yet? Or niknaks? The salt and vinegar Discos will blow the top of your head. 😂
Looks like what we call a Penguin Bar.
Where are you from?
@@SouthernTriedChannel Penguin = English or what we Australians call English - Poms
Tim Tam's are another British food the Aussies stole, it's basically a McVities Penguin
Tim Tam's are over priced and over rated. I'll take a fudge covered Oreo 1st any day of the week.
They are imported so…
