The hardest times are when I just woke up from my nightmares and I'm still only half awake and the dream is so fresh it's like I'm still half in my nightmare. This song brings back the old days of creepypastas in 2014
The tone of this music, mixing with the image...it makes me think of a man in the stages of grief and loss.
His lover stolen from him, most likely from a violent crime or accident. The music captures the sorrow and shock the man goes through, while it’s mainly the image that elevates the creep factor; for as the man weeps for his lover, still bound to this mortal plain, the love of his life refuses to pass on, choosing to stay with him in spirit even as he mourns.

Wherever I go, I hear a faint noise at the back of my mind and it sounds like my name.
It sounds like...it sounds like *her* voice.
But how could that be? I left the scene years ago after a sexual escapade with her which I never turned back to, practically deleting my existence from her life, leaving her all on her own because I was nothing but a stupid little thrill-seeker.
You could say I was young and stupid in that sense, bedding girls and leaving them afterwards- a playboy.
Once in a while, I do think of her...somewhere in the back of my mind when those memories rise up from the murky depths of my thoughts late at night like bubbles rising up from a riverbed. I think about how pretty she used to be and how she most probably looks now (the 1st thing, admittedly- although pretty shallow. I'm a fucking man, I mean), what she's doing now, if she has a man
... Wait, why should I bother? I'm not in love with her. She was.
I heard it again last night right before falling asleep, crystal clear- almost like someone lying next to you, in your arms and speaking close into your ear...just like she did on that fateful day.
Surprisingly, I only remember it now.
At that moment, an actual image of her lying in bed with me, snuggling close to me so she could whisper in my ear was in my mind all those years ago was behind my eyelids like a TV screen.
Where has that memory been gone all these years- and what made it come back?
Only...instead of a beautiful girl with the killer body I was dying to get naked back then, a pale, emaciated-looking creature lay next to me and instead of the big, honey-coloured eyes I loved staring into- at least for that brief moment after sex- were two dark holes.
Instead of the long silky hair whose strands were once all over my bedsheets was a matted, tangled mess.
But the worst part was
...instead of saying "I love you" like the voice once did into my ear, it now said
"I won't stop haunting you..."
