I am on my 3rd Truffle Factory! On the 1st one the sugar packin' elf's shoulder would hit the doorway coming OUT of the kitchen, the other 3 were fine. Factory # 2, the top pipe running from the milk chocolate pot to the dark chocolate pot completely broken off and damaged beyond repair. The 3rd and latest Factory had the IDENTICAL problem as the one in your video. Jerking, binding and even squeaking. Following your video step by step has made my Factory the happiest little chocolate producing establishment on the planet. It runs sooo smooth I actually think it's mixing chocolate inside its walls. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for taking the time to make this phenomenal and cohesive recording. I was ready to give up on this building and send it back AGAIN. You saved the day! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hi Random Junk Channel. I started watching your videos to learn how to repair my Dept 56 animated pieces. Now I watch not only because it teaches me but also relaxes me too. Thanks and keep up the great work and video tutorials.

Yes!!!! I knew the truffle factory was going to end up in the laboratory. I also knew that the elf was in the break room. Congratulations on a job well done bravo 👏 bravo 👏. Lots of reviews calling the truffle factory the “trouble factory”

Amazing videos have helped me fix a few pieces so far. Thank you! With this one, I have lights and sound, but no moving parts, I can’t spin the main manually even, assuming the motor needs replacing - is there a specific one you recommend I replace with?

The motor is an SRF-300CA or RF-300CA with an 11,400 RPM rating. Make sure you check the gears for cracks and the belt for slippage.

Thank you! Motor was burned out, probably due to excess grease as you described. All fixed 😎

There were a lot of reviews saying there were problems with this product, so I looked closely and there was even a warning message on Amazon saying it was a product with many returns. I hope Lemax fixes the problems and releases it again.

It is unfortunate that most Lemax pieces have problems, generally the motor due to excessive grease in the gear box. This is why I make these videos to help those with their broken pieces and to help eliminate future repairs by correcting issues found in design/assembly.

@@RandomJunkChannel I predict the problem with the grove, is the two band members in front aren’t moving.

What if my building is getting no power. It wont turn on at all.

if the power supply (AC Adapter) is good, then you most likely have a shorted motor
