I really like Blackmail because it is a lot different from other oud/rose combos. It's such a great oud paired with smokey incense and some slight fruity sweetness. So well done.
I bought a sample of Layton Exclusif and OFG. Hate the Layton wife hates it also. It stinks. OFG was a shock. Absolutely so unique. I don’t think I’ve ever smelled anything like it. It was so different at first because being so unique. We both kept smelling it because it reminds us of something we’ve smelled before but not a fragrance. No clue what. But after wearing it a couple times the better half gave me her blessing to buy a bottle of it.
Basically the oud is from the agarwood tree, which is also commonly used for incense in Catholic or orthodox churches. This wood is expensive and in Southeast Asia it is an endangered plant.
I didn’t say anything about Layton. It smells okay. Not as awesome as you think it does but not bad. Exclusiff smells like butt to anyone not a Frag head. And while I appreciate the artistry to make stuff that makes you smell identical to an elephants butt crack I just want to smell good to normal people who don’t have the brain damage that apparently comes from huffing too many Pthalates etc added into Fragrances 😂 😂🤣
Gucci Oud I started with (not Gucci Intense Oud). I asked the sales lady to break me in easy with oud and she recommended this one and i love it. I can smell the oud but just so barely that its just almost a whiff i get every now and then the fruity /rose stands out most and the oud just warms it up a bit.
Dior Isphahan is only found in Harvey Nichols which isn’t a global franchise. Also may be exclusive to the Middle East! She may not have even tried it! & I Agree it’s amazing.
I've blind-bought OFG. Ohh man, strong, long lasting, incensy-dark, great for winter fragance, too strong for hot weather. I would definitely recommend testing it before buying it as I don't think it's for everyone and it definitely leans towards the masculine side.
Try Fort & Manle Bojnokopff. It's the dirty kind of oud, but it's beautifully blended with the vanilla, chocolate and lavender. And not overbearing in any way. Based on your taste, i think you'll like it.

I haven't put a nose on Oud for Greatness in a year or two, but going strictly from olfactory memory, it reminds me of Jubilation XXV from Amouage. I do remember liking it alot. For me a fragrance MUST impart a sense of mystery, otherwise why bother? It's about more than merely 'smelling nice'. It should convey a sense of the exotic. Oud for Greatness certainly does that. But at $430 for a paltry 90ml., it damn well should.
I really want to like OUD but I cannot bear it. My stomach is stirring, it gives me gastric acidity, It makes me nauseous🤢 and I gey a headache😵 I just can bear CH Men Insignia and perhaps a bit Gucci intense Oud.

After seeing so many positive reviews for Lancome Oud Bouquet.. I finally gave in and purchased it, but it's sadly not working out for me. I can't return the bottle because I got it engraved. If anyone in U.S. is interested in buying the new version of this fragrance for a discount please contact me. I keep trying to love it, but I don't think it's ever gonna work for me.

And I pay about 20 to 40 dollars for them. All different combos and quite authentic from the sellers and makers themselves. I've told people that if I could only have 1 frag for the rest of my life it had to be OFG. I can smell it all day long. You want to breathe it in and it's just Mmmmmm. My fave too!
I like many of the fragrances you listed. For the warmer months, I like MFK 'Oud EDP'. It is a light oud fragrance that pairs well with warmer weather. You have to make sure to get the EDP version and not the extrait (which is better for cooler weather). I like the extrait version too.
I've a small 10 ml decant of oud for greatness and I added maybe 2ml to the decant of BR540 parfum and let it sit and it's off the chain sexy Dudes scent ....I wore 2 sprays of it to a gathering at my hotel and my Bosses wife literally walked up to me and asked me what I was wearing and my Boss asked for a little sample he wore it and his wife bought him a bottle and hes loved it ever since
If you like refined oud fragrances, there’s one that I suggest you try above all others. Roja Dove Amber oud. I daresay you will like it even more than oud for greatness
Hi, Demi, i DON'T own Oud For Greatness but i got one that is inspired by OFG and its called OUDDICTION by Alexandria. I have never smelled OFG, all i can say: OUDDICTION smells beautiful. Longevity & sillage are fantastic. I know i can't compare it with OFG, 😊😊. Love this video. ❤👏😘🙏.
My favourite oud fragrances are Oud Palao by Diptyque and Hayati by Arabian Oud (one of the best brands in my opinion). Those perfumes are definitely not for everyone though. You should try them out!

Alien Oud Majesteux is one that I really enjoy. It’s pretty rough - Alien with untamed barnyard Oud. But sooooo good! A def try before you buy! Oud Bouquet, Noir de Noir, and Delina Exclusif are my fave Ouds (even though Delina is the most friendly Oud of all time, it’s still there apparently lol). I’m a fan of the new Oud Bouquet formulation, but I ordered a sample of the older one. Just as a confirmation to see which one is the better smell (subjectively, of course)

MFK Satin Mood is my favorite of the MFK Oud line, as a guy, and I dont find it nearly as feminine leaning as Silk Mood, which is still Unisex but leans fairly feminine. I have yet to smell a bad MFK fragrance yet. They are all top shelf, for sure!
Have you tried precious oud by van cleef and arpels? It is beautiful. Please give a review on their extraordinaire collection. I think you liked their orchide Vanille.
I’ve tried the original Oud by MFK and it’s fairly sweet as well - it has a beautiful saffron note that smells so luxurious... and I’ve worn Noir de Noir for my birthday 💖

Oud for Greatness is worth the hype 100%. A little goes a long long way. It projects wonderfully and lasts all day. All day and then some.

Armani Oud Royal is the best for me. You can tell who's wearing it from a mile.

Hi..why dont u review some middle eastern brands...this list is incomplete. Honestly without brands like Abdul samad alqureshi(ASQ), Arabian oud, Oud Elite and Asghar Ali .

She may not have Access to these. I’ve never heard of anything you just mentioned and I’m pretty big fan of niche fragrances and definitely a huge fan of oud.
@@nicholaslavides1940 Anyone who has not tried original middle eastern oud fragrances does not know shit about oud. Cuz western houses do not use real oud no matter how niche.

MFK Satin Mood is my favorite of the MFK Oud line, as a guy, and I dont find it nearly as feminine leaning as Silk Mood, which is still Unisex but leans fairly feminine. I have yet to smell a bad MFK fragrance yet. They are all top shelf, for sure!

Have you tried precious oud by van cleef and arpels? It is beautiful. Please give a review on their extraordinaire collection. I think you liked their orchide Vanille.
I’ve tried the original Oud by MFK and it’s fairly sweet as well - it has a beautiful saffron note that smells so luxurious... and I’ve worn Noir de Noir for my birthday 💖
