I'm very satisfied with both our picks, Kinglsey looks like he could develop into a real beast.
Love the pick. Apparently they were eyeing him at 32 if Worthy was gone, so if they were that high on him, they got insane value getting him almost 30 picks later.
I seen a lot of bitching about moving up one spot to get him, which I don't get, if he was the guy, and there's a huge drop off after him go get him.
We needed an OT, and WR and with the picks we had looks like we've done as well as we could of.

Loved the call by Andy Reid to this big guy, big close relationship going on there. Loved the way he says he wants to protect "Patty Mahomes" with an "I got you, do not worry". Fits right into the Kingdom. Our family raised in Columbia, MO and Lincoln NE but living in Kingsley's hometown by BYU right now with wife working on faculty/staff there and both alumni--- special connection to this guy and will be watching his NFL career closely. Cole is close to pronouncing the name correctly, Kingsley is Samoan descent, raised in Utah, just separate each vowel sound a little bit more: Soo-uh-mah-tah-ee-uh.

None of my mock drafts could I get Suamataia with pick 64, it was always with pick 32 or trading back early 2nd. That being said, I think it was a great pick and worth the slight trade up. Funny how two teams the Chiefs beat in the playoffs agreed to trades so far. Veach gets an A for Day 1&2. Now is his bread and butter Day 3, with 5 picks. My favorite CB is off the board but maybe we can get my second favorite.

One thing we can never question is Brett and Andy when it comes to seeing, drafting, and developing players. They are the gold standard. I questioned those guys one time and that was when they drafted a young kid out of TT in the first round. Well we all know how that turned out. Mad Respect for this team. The chiefs are rounding out their roster really well right now. Going forward, rb and cb would be good positions to shore up. I don't think they are done with the wr room either, but they will probably sign some free agents rather than draft another one. Kansas city will be interesting to watch next season, because the offense has much more potential now.

You got the pronunciation of his last name right. With Samoan surnames just say the consonant paired with the vowel and you probably will get it right 90% of the time. At least it isn't like some European names with 2 or 3 consonants in a row. 😃

Kingsley Sumataia is the cousin to Pene Sewell who plays LT for the Detroit Lions 🦁 who recently got a contract extension. He’s got the arm length and the athleticism despite having issues in his technique but they are coachable to help improve his game.

Another solid Reid/Veach pick. In many mock drafts I saw and participated in at PFF, I saw Matt Goncalves from Pitt go to the Chiefs a lot at 64. Gotta trust Reid and Veach on their evaluation. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in a veteran on a one-year deal to give Kingsley time to develop.
They can easily bring Donovan Smith back for one more year. He wasn't spectacular, but he was solid, and that could give the Andy's a fully year to coach him up. I really like the pick. He's a great kid with tons of potential.

@@lawrencejett1836 We’ve won SBs with Fisher and OBjr. His play wasn’t any worse than OBjr and it was his rookie year filling in for someone else. I’m really optimistic for his potential and he’s not the guy we’ve now got a guy to replace.

light weight guy is easily as important as any single big body WR. If they don't take
another WR, it may mean they have good information on the Rice suspension? If Toney can
stay healthy and hold on to the ball then I think Mahomes can work comfortably with him,
WR Watson and the TE's they have on shorter routes with the prospect of good yards after
the catch. With ball lightning dragging the defense 50 yards down the field, this should
be fun to watch. A 4.3-40 is a little more than 9 yards-sec. I can do that. (NOT!)
