Even though the fandom is not as strong as it once was I still love it. I've been in this Fandom since Janurary 2012 and I'm not leaving soon.

2 years since I entered the community and I do not regret even a second.
Greetings from Mexico.
Here we are, half way through 2018 and this is only just now finding its way into my recommendeds. I guess it makes sense after I've been going back and watching some videos about the fandom through the years and some of the early brony content. Since BronyCon this year I've been... Honestly just a complete mess, between next year being the end of the con and the reminder this year's con gave me about why we're bronies and what I like about the fandom in the first place. I've been putting off working on a montage/animation of my trip and a message to try to get a few more ponies to the con next year in an effort to avoid the pain of the news, or even worse in my opinion, going numb to the pain by working on the video.
But it's not just supposed to be about the bad news, and I guess I needed to see this to remind me of that. It's also about the beauty of the event and the fandom. We are a bit of an anomaly, and what we are is beautiful. *A year and a half later, thank you for this video.*
I'm going to go hug a pony and actually work on mine now.

What an amazing video! A simply wonderful reflection and reminder of just how incredible this fandom is, and continues to be. In my opinion, we're more than just a fandom or community - we're like one big family. And like every big and strong family, it's never perfect. We may come across some bad apples, and we may have our moments of unpleasant fighting and drama from time to time, but through it all, we still stand strong together, and come to bring so much joy, happiness and support to each other, and form wonderful friendships with amazing people. It's a community I'm happy and proud to be part of, and it's still astounding that one show has made it all happen. For so many reasons, MLP and the brony community are quite simply two of the greatest things that ever happened to me, and I look forward to seeing what 2017 (which looks set to be THE year of Pony) brings for all of us. This has been one heck of a year probably for all of us. But we are all still here together.
Seems like this year animations took over like crazy. Well for what I've seen it's been a hard year for quite a lot of people. While I really haven't served my part as being apart of this fandom too much. I just hope that it gets better in 2017. My hope is for pmvs to make a return.. Would be nice. Regardless great vidro kat :)
I only came here cuz the Shanhai Brony Con (or what ever it's called) is featured here. It was worth the trip.
This was the best way to end off 2016 with the bronies. I really liked this and hope 2017 will be better than 2016.
Out of all the communities I'm a part of, the brony community has to be the best. I just love how we're all just so welcoming to each other, and we're not just constantly insulting each other. I'm proud to be a part of such a wonderful community, and I hope you all have a fantastic 2017!
THIS... THIS is why I am proud to be part of this fandom. I've only been a brony for a year, but this fandom has probably been the greatest thing to ever happen. I have chaged some much and became a much happier, better, and more talented person.
I discovered I have a small artistic talent from this fandom, I now have a much bigger passion for music than I did before this, and I'm going to BABSCON 2017, April 14-16.

Even though 2016 was an overall shitty year, there was alot good that happened that people didn't see or hear about.

I missed this video in the barrage of video spam in my sub box from other channels. That surprised me that was used here. And I still notice that little animation error with the head bobbing and it still bothers me to this day.
We all love MLP and IRL we sometimes find MLP fans like us but online we can find them and we all put our OCs, Vids, SMF, comics, and other stuff to let other people can see and enjoy. We can't have all the haltered and drama get in our way. We all have our own ways and we all can enjoy that forever no matter what.
this made me wish i could be part of the mlp fandom again after drifting apart from it
Man, how long has it been since this all started? And we're somehow still here. Welp, here's to a new year, a better year, and most of all? A year of hopefully being able to help more people, maybe save lives.

The brain cancer part really touched me, since I had one 10 years agp, and this is one pf the worst thing you could live.
(And this has trule changed my life, and not in a good way), I hope that thay person got better, and will hopfully love in peace :).

November 2016 was when I joined the herd. watching the show was one of the Best decisions I ever made.
3 years ago, I was one of the haters, and a I thought bronies were some stupid adults that love watching a show about friendship for little girls. I then watched first 4 episodes in one day and realized I became a brony. But It is a good thing because the fandom is awesome. Everything I said in the past are things I completely regret saying. This is the greatest fandom I have ever been apart of :D

This has certainly been a hellish year for pretty much everyone, with Season 6 and BronyCon (You can actually see me in the closing ceremonies clip.) being one of the few positives. Whatever comes next, no matter what bad things may happen, we must make sure we face it together. This is a community based around Friendship and Harmony, and I think this world needs it more now than ever before.
I saw Rem! (remberance) and TheLostNarrator and MagPiePony
and I love how this helps people in the fandom deal with stuff if it includes social problems or anything the fandom won't push you away thay- We won't push you away we'll let you come too us. it doesn't matter if your a bit or girl it doesn't matter if your gay or a lesbian it doesn't matter age you can do what you like In the fandom.
take me for instant: I was in a hard place with Bullies in school, me and my besty falling out so much , my mum haveing cancer, and me and my uncle having depression. mlp has helped me so much during the past year.
so if your having problems with things like friendship problems, social problems, depression, etc.

I just kinda feel bad for bronies like me and a few others who are small RUclipsrs who try really hard, and just want to get noticed for their work then I see videos like this and I see how much better everyone else is.
