Waterless is by far the best car wash. It's amazing how waterless cleaning technology protect the paint coat from your car and keep it in good condition with out any damage. The most car washes which uses pressure washers with many chemicals definitely remove the wax from the car so after each wash have to apply new wax by hand. I live in Uk and I am from island in Mediterranean so when I have been there i have noticed the most cars they have oxidized paint and also damage coating and believe because once they clean the cars remove the wax so the sun (UV Rays) damage the paint coating. Actually we apply wax on the car because protect the coating, paint and give good shine. Without it the coating and the paint damage. It's unbelievable there how many cars I've seen with this problem. In UK i haven't seen too many cars with this problem because here does't have a lot of sun. However waterless cleaning technology it is the most effective and easier method to protect and cleaning your car especially if you live in sunny places. The difficult part of cleaning with waterless are the wheels. Apart this is awesome and the car looks amazing.
Great vid as always I'm massive fan of waterless products it's no way near as popular in the UK so I'm trying to make it popular my business is all about waterless that much so I got the idea of making my own waterless wash from you 👍 I use carplan supergloss mixed with turtle wax caranuba wash and wax mixed with caflon then top up with water absolute beast of a product the sheeting on it is amazing I have also made a waterless pre wash wich I apply on the bottom half of the car and the back before applying my waterless product therefore getting rid of as much dirt as I can before hand p.s my business is doing extremely well and waterless washing is out powering my traditional jet wash by 5 cars to 1 👍
Darren, how would you differentiate a waterless wash product from a Detailer? Don’t they serve the same purpose, perhaps with the exception of soil levels? Thanks very much.
The topic of waterless wash, spray detailers, quick detailers, gloss enhancers, etc. is a very blurred topic. Any product/liquid (including water) could "technically be used as a waterless product. It often depends on word games between people. For example: does waterless mean zero-water used, or just "less" water used? The main goal is to remove light amounts of dirt/dust as safely as possible, so using some form of liquid that is either safe for car paint, and/or beneficial to car paint can be used as a waterless wash product in my opinion. Which means I could easily just reach for the CSI Q-7 Wax and spray each section like I do in the video and use a straight wax as my form of a waterless wash product. In this industry there are lots of overly developed egos and many guys like to engage in semantics, or the art of word games that include endless, nauseating moments of debate just to come to a definitive conclusion on terminology.
That is a very deep rabbit hole. The simple answer is "depends on who you ask". In my opinion; just abut any liquid (like basic water) can be used as a waterless product. Any liquid that will help suspend and break down the dust/dirt (without directly damaging the paint) to me could be labeled as a waterless product.
I see the advantage of using a diluted spray wax on a waxed or uncoated car. But what do we use on a ceramic coated car? The CSI product line isn’t available outside the US / here in Europe. Is D156 also usable in that manner?
A couple of questions darren for a back yard hack. I have just used meguiars ceramic hybrid spray as directed and the car looks fantastic. 1st question, how long between maintenance usage would you recommend for a vehicle parked outside all of the time? question 2, i live in a cabin community so i have been using ecosmart waterless wash and wax every second week and traditional wash every other week including a wax and dry drying aid(wife's car as well as to not get complaints about water soaking into the ground etc if i used traditional method on them every week), Would the waterless wash and wax and the drying aid take away from the meguiars ceramic hybrid, or do you think it would be better to wash that car traditionally every week and just top up the meguiars ceramic spray when needed?
I think any of you methods you currently use or have thought of using will work and don't need to be over-thought. What you are doing is great as you obviously can see the good results and certainly are maintaining your car(s) better than anyone else in your neighborhood. There are many ways to the end goal. While I do believe there are differences in products with regards to quality of ingredients, formulation, etc. just as there are in procedures, what you are doing is great. So often it comes down to something as simple as what you are willing to do. If a guy/girl is using inferior products or techniques, but is willing to do it more often than with superior products or techniques, I would take the consistency over anything else in most cases. Just like my world of fitness: I could argue all day long on the merits of work-out routines, supplements, etc. But if a person is unwilling or incapable of sustaining those efforts, then it matters not how good the routine or supplement are. I would rather have them do the inferior methods unless the methods were truly damaging or unhealthy. All the products and techniques you mentioned are good and if they are working for you; then more power to you!
@@autofetishdetail First of all thanks for the reply, i have been watching your channel and videos for almost 4 years and realise how busy you are. Yes, they are the best looking cars in our little corner of the world. Probably too much because now a neighbour has me looking after her two cars as well. She has got sick while on holidays so i experimented with the car that is left here as I could not move it. I just used regular car wash mixed with water in a spray bottle and washed it using waterless wash methods, I did saturate the car a little more with the spray and it actually worked quite well. Thanks again for your time and looking forward to your upcoming videos.

what I learn as we are in autumn going to the winter but today is very soft weather and next week be much colder if a car is under mudd sand is on it leaves are on it you use high-pressure .i go to the coins wash to use only high pressure and going to the in summertime rinse it off I use instead of traditional soap waterless or rinssless. mi car is outside near a tree i have to check very carefully what for dirt is on my car but Darren explain it and brian from apex explain it and I a lot of towels i will do in the summertime does train no sand do more rinsless or waterless nowhere is what a lots of comment be Darren dust will scratch your car whatever you move on your car or paint will scratch I ask in the autumn if I drive and a leaves fly against mi car slide over the paint will that not have light scratches ? if sand jump on to your paint in autumn will that not leave light scratches? ask sean what if that toothbrush is to hard what if the toothpaste yes that one does t clean enough but another will what iff while you wonder you leave your teeth dirty and your teeth will rott then i rather have some light scratches that I can polish away but the car is clean the dirt is gone but after this winter ile rince it very well down possible an iron remover

Actually you can order CSI products outside the US if you go directly to the company website.
