I think T-Rex Arms' Lucas put it best...in this day and age, the best product is to actually have a product in stock and good service. Doesn't matter how cool your gear is if nobody can ever buy it. I don't agree with him on everything but he was spot on as far as that's concerned.
I understand his sentiment but there is a lower threshold on acceptable even as a stop gap and I honestly think the AC1 is very much toeing that line. This “shortage” is also a fallacy as there are a ton of great PCs on eBay every single day. The fact that people want one of two or three options out there because IG says so is silly.
@@EODFish True, it definitely does feel like a lot of people have forgotten about eBay and/or the second-hand market. Blame Amazon and the like for making everyone want factory-new, 2-day shipping all the time huh. Any plans on an AC1 review, by the way? Curious to hear your take on it
@@EODFish there might be good pcs on ebay but how much hace they been used? How much are they charging. Some are charging 1k for a jpc bc of the shortage. And there is a shortage...of trusted gear from retailers. Most people are not goin to ebay. Always the potential to get ripped off
It's a great USA made option, even with Woodland or Arid patterns the placard is still under $130. Super affordable compared to other USA made placards
Agreed. I’m morally torn on all associated issues as I feel a deeper connection to the industry than just a consumer that is happy getting what I want.
@@EODFish Their Tourniquet plate for safariland holster looks uncannily similar to the_theory_police’s Ham plate. They also had people call out their belt as a copy too.

@@EODFish Yeah, that plate carrier of his looks... feature minimal to a fault. Not even close to worth the price he is asking for if you ask me

I’ve been eyeing this as well as the Spiritus. What I really need is someone who makes a double handcuff pouch insert for one of the front pockets.
Austere_tacmed on IG is your dude.
Thanks for the lead man.
I have one, it’s okay. Not my favorite but well-built. Good vid as always.
The real question whether or not it is in stock.

What company did they copy
Spiritusish
Mag floorplate name? Nice vid!
Cain Arms
What was the lead/ship time you got?
Instant because this was loaned to me by another person for the review.
@@EODFish ah ok
whats the carrier called?
Beez Combat Systems Aptum.
@@EODFish how did you get in the forbidden pattern?
@@goopgear it’s not mine. I forgot that I should have dropped a different video first. The PC video will be tomorrow.
RDR Gear copies yet another company? Surprised Kirk face
What else did they “copy”?

@@GuamGuy thanks for sharing. There is a ton out there than I’m not familiar with and I try not to play the copy game too hard.
@@EODFish I mean you can’t really patent a sewn design but multiple occurrence start to point to a pattern.
So what? If they can do it cheaper and be actual in stock who cares?
