Zach, your messages are always great but sometimes they just make me sit back and realize that preterists have ALOT of work to do to challenge the horrible theology Christians have had. We are thankfully in the midst of a reformation 2.0. Keep up the amazing work!
yeah man, i was just thinking about this last night. preterism forces you to read and study the text but not just the text, the original texts. it changes perspectives so clearly that you are able to see how much is written into the translations....
and agreed we are in a reformation and Preterism can not only bring clarity to a confused church, but bring an end to cults like the watch tower and LDS churches. there are many who are deceived to follow false christs. these people are hungry for the true god but are deceived. a clear and fulfilled gospel destroys these modern day adversaries of the true Christ.
When speaking of graven images etc how would the contemporary church erecting crosses and placing the sign of the fish on their bibles and cars and such?
Jesus bound satan so the nations could not deceive the nations anymore, so the Gospel was spread widely. That said, satan still had the ability to be the accuser, the liar etc. Hope you explain the binding in Part 2
