I had to email Fiverr support to give me more chances to request for code which they did. After then, I was able to request for code via call and I got back into the account. I’m not sure it was hackers. I think it’s a glitch from Fiverr. Funny enough, I get app notifications on messages coming in and I couldn’t reply just like you said.

Yes, they are probably slammed with these requests and it's hard to really understand what is going on on the seller side. If the hacker got into the account or not...I am sorry that your student is going through this.
Yeah true. I got scammed the same way in 2020. They cleared my $200 and Fiverr couldn't do anything about it. It was a good thing that you were cautious about where the mail came from
I got my Fiverr account hacked back in December and within minutes they connect the payment method which was PayPal which was not available in my country and they just cleared 5k usd and within minutes I talked to support and they blocked my account and when I asked about how the payment was added without a OTP they had no clue but they just ignored my messages a nightmare for me.

Yes, it might be some sort of targeted attack...I would make sure you have always access your phone number since you will be able to reset the pass without any issues. Also maybe change your email address that you have on Fiverr.

I'll advice you don't keep a cliche, of course I understand some people mayn't love you for your accrued status but look at the hackers point of view. your account is a goldpot, but I trust you can repeat that with your talent.

The Attack could be coming from a Competitor ranking on the first page with you. Musk did it to Mtn and Africa network when he launched starlink
