I agree! The chairs are TRUE TREASURES! If you're concerned about them being rickety, turn them upside down and tighten all the screws! It's an easy fix! Take it from a 69 year old DIY fan whose home is filled with beautiful, well-loved antiques.

Oh girl, you gotta keep the French provincial chairs. They are beautiful & so much better quality than the ladder back chairs. You will for sure regret one day getting rid of new ones. I know you think they don't match your home, but farmhouse design can be more eclectic. Think about this long and hard!!!!!

Hi Kristen…before I forget A BIG Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈 on getting to seventy thousand. When I first watched you at the beginning I knew your channel would grow to big numbers. I love the new table and love the chairs. Eventually I would sand the table. We had my husband’s grandmother’s white oak table for years before we got around to sanding it. You will love it more. Rosie holding Lily was the hilight of the video. I agree with the changes you made, especially the chair change by the fireplace I love the bed linens you got. I love moss green. The stripe sheets are so classic and love the duvet cover. I would not care either about the color of the flowers. Just the thought that Josh is so proud of you and wanted to let you know, is so special. I could not tel if you still have zinnias. I take mine every Sunday for in front of the altar . I look forward to cutting mine, putting them in beautiful vases and putting greenery with them. Last week I used fig tree leaves to fill in. I got paper butterflies from an estate sale that I put with the flowers. They make a lot of people happy. I guess Lily can take a bottle and so you won’t have to worry about that on your retreat. It sounds like a very special wonderful retreat. I hope you fully relax . Thank you for including our Heavenly Father in your videos. Our world needs more Kristens. ❤❤❤

Oh my goodness.. just look at that precious baby! Ivy is getting so big & she's so alert! When she was looking up at you, making those sweet sounds & smiled.. girl I just melted!🫠Don't get much more precious! When my kids were young, my dining set had those same exact chairs! My table was round with a huge center stand, but had 2 pieces you could put in to make it oval & seat 6. I bought it second hand when my daughter was young. The table was solid oak & they'd had a hand carved piece added all the way around just about 1-2in under the edge of the table top. It was A beautiful set & i really loved the chairs. I kept the same cushions in mine in a deep burgundy color. Look at us.. great minds😉😁 Ohh I love the new chairs!! You know I collect single old side or dining chairs just to sit around my home, mostly for decor but some are functional too, others are too old to be sat in, I wouldn't trust them! lol😄 If I saw one like that I'd snap i it up, at the right price of course. I like the table too. I agree, your old chairs look better with the table, like you said a more primitive vibe. But the French provincial chairs are just beautiful & i would never let them go! Honey I hope you listed them at a comp price with those on line if you did or do list them😮 wow it would be a blessing for you guys to get what they're worth! It just takes that one person that collects antiques to see them! Green is my fav color💚 Love the new bedding.. its all so gorgeous! The quilt look so comfy & cozy! That's all I ever use on my bed, is a quilt. There's A song that comes from that verse in Psalms 8.. Oh Lord our Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth🎶.. the name of the song is "How Majestic Is Your Name". We use to sing it in church. I love your green dress, so pretty! Your old table looks almost exactly like my kitchen table. I do love the new table, but the chairs!! I have been looking for chairs like those, my entire life!! I'd keep all the chairs, I'm a chair person! But whatever you choose always looks incredible!! PS if I lived near you, I'd gladly take whichever chairs you want to get rid of!!

I like the new chairs way better. They go with an eclectic style. Your ladder back chairs are as tall. Good swap with the antique chair in the living room. 😊. New print over the tv looks better. The other one looks like it’s sitting on top of the TV with no separation. 🤷🏼♀️. Musical pictures 😂

I’m in the business of design, have been for over 20 years now. Your channel inspires me! I will watch a few of my big designers that I’ve followed before youtube was a thing! Truthfully, I LOVE watching someone like yourself who thrifts, shops from her own home and makes it work! The picture change out is a home run, looks great! I will tell you the gallery wall you slaved over a year or so ago, took down and started over, what you have now with one large art piece is perfect!

Not that my opinion counts but…I think your placements after playing musical pictures was spot on and was also glad you opted for your older chairs. They made the space feel less crowded. You have to enjoy your home and what you prefer is what matters. Your bedroom looks like a retreat with the new bedding. I also enjoy when you share scripture; it adds to the enjoyment of your videos.

Keep the new chairs, they totally work BUT try it with just 4 chairs at the table. The end chairs is what is making it look too busy in the space, which is a common issue with end chairs.
I'd put the other 2 chairs somewhere else and just grab them when you need them for guests, it will also free up space for a high chair at the table this way. ❤
