I put my stock ultra on solo. Hit my first block at 1% and my second block at 2%. Now sitting at 43 and counting
those personal luck on the 2miners shows the current luck after the last block, it's not the overall average effort
Ahh that makes sense, I like Kaspa-pool average and current effort stat better.
Mining to my own node about 2 months now, solo effort is about 100%.
ive been solo mining on woolypooly since i got my first kas asic, I have always averaged 65% luck since day one. typically there will be 2 blocks over 100% in a row (sometimes up to 400%) followed by 4-5 blocks under 50%
About 1.1Th. Kaspa-pool. Avg 29% effort. Idaho. idk if that's good or whatever. Just 2 OC'd Ultras. Winter is coming so, nice little heaters.
The moment to "solo mine" kaspa was 2 years ago... then could hit a block per day with a couple of 3090s easily... now its the time to solo mine whatever coin you see future.. (personally... I cant find none)
A local Kaspa KDX with a stratum bridge gets me around 1.7 ms stratum ping and your supposed to mine directly to the Kaspa blockchain (yes?). Why does 2miners yield a better solo result (for me) with 21 ms ping? This is not just luck
what is the ping from your mining node wallet to 2miners and other top kaspa pools.. you need to do a addnode:(IP of top pool wallets) in your wallet config you need to have that fast connect directly to those pools to compete solo on your own node

I would like to see about setting up a node for solo mining. Wondering what it would cost to host a node somewhere with fast internet.
You need rusty node. If you deplou golang node it will drop your ks0 into break mode. And you will need firmware reboot them every day...
I would be interested if you yokd us which miner hut or was hitting the blicks. Was is mostly one or spread out.
How did tge ks0 pros do did the dmallers contribute enough to bither?
Im on k2pool with about 50 ping using a ks0 pro, stock. Been about 3 days with 0 blocks average 210 hash

Hey sir MEV is that active on Kaspa now or after the fork. Until that is active on Kaspa Humpool will keep doing what they are doing plus they take extra fees. I have been using Kaspa pool since last June 2023.

Low pinged pool didn't do good at all for me found NO blocks in 2 weeks, a higher ping pool (k1-pool) did way better. Only have 1.5 th/s and found 6 blocks in 4 weeks.

Panda says everyone needs to solo mine to their own node. You have to read between the lines here.

got my computer running solo XMR, ping is around 5ms, so who knows =P
and if i do get a block right as i type this, it'd be a 3% luck block
The more hashrate you put on it the closer you'll get to 100% and becoming your own "pool" 🤷♀By pool mining you're already getting close to 100%. Since there is no huge reward per block like when tokens launched there's no point.
the point is to capture all the krc 20 rewards during congestion.. that's huge and could be the make or break for getting roi before door stop
@@DouglasHeyen I get what you're saying but looking at the current historical rewards it's pretty much always around 88KAS/block and with so many blocks per minute you have to win 2 lotteries while soloing: 1: win the lottery to hit any block, 2: win the lottery to hit the one rare block that actually pays more than the 88KAS average. Not worth it IMHO. Wouldn't want to get caught with 200% effort for no upside.
for me Woolypooly is 14ms ping!!
