Opps I made a mistake in the video, it was the Vinyl that left that nasty glue on the paint, not the transfer tape. I'm looking forward to MANY projects with this style of masking. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy leave a like. Have a great weekend, another cool paint project on Monday so seeya then! 🍺👍🍺
I work with permanent vinyl and when that happens to me I use WD40. Just a dab on a microfiber cloth and its off. But you can use a lion eraser too. Thats the eraser that is white but I don't know if it will affect the paint. Love your channel. 👍
I have 2 of those from when I was a kid. When I was 18 I actually had almost a replica of it and had it velcroed to my dash! Just didn’t have the IROC rims lol
take it from an ole sign guy, 91% alcohol will take that glue right off. Just make sure to not soak it because it will eat acrylic paints. enamels are pretty safe. also, you can use "awesome" from the dollar store to remove plastic yellowing.
Looks great! I did flames on a hot wheels without a vinyl cutter once. I had to cut the flames with an exacto knife out of blue fineline tape. Turned out good, but a vinyl cutter looks so much easier. Keep the videos coming.
Man that paint job came out sweet after you did the clear coat. It look super wet and shiny not to be left out are the epic flame job you painted on the truck as well. Friggin outstanding as always bro
If you use the transfer with the glue on stick it to some jeans a bunch of times (to dull it down) then when it’s tacky just stick it back over the glue residue left on the car it will put the glue off nice and easy
Very cool, with the transfer paper… 🤔 Never knew you could do it on a small scale model like that? Glue residue sucks! Nice finish, love the candy black 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Outstanding results! Not going to lie, the thumbnail pic had me worried. I was like “cool, a blooper video”, but nope. Well done and looks like a new tool for cool graphics.
very cool man. def learning curve with the new tech, but it's gonna make your work even more outstanding than it already is. i'm excited where you go with it.
Don't know if you can get "Shellite" in the USofA, that's my goto for glue removal, BC (before computers) when draftsmen used pens to draw, we used shellite to keep the big sheets of vellum clean while we were working on our drawings.
Dude you guys should do up in American Tipper you cannot find replacement beds for those things anywhere same way with the American Hauler I mean it's the same casting
A simple trick is just to use another piece of vinyl cause the adhesive will stick to the adhesive left behind. Stick and remove over and over until it’s all gone. I’ve worked with vinyl graphics for 20 years and that’s how I remove it.
You keep saying it looks bad but I think it still looks amazing even before the clear coat. Are you planning on mixing the 3d printing modifications and car customization? It'd be cool to redo interiors and stuff with the printer or make custom wheels, spoilers, hood scoops. Hell even make a new front end shell that could slide over the original and make it something totally new.
Awesome job as usual, would love to know where you source your wheels from. I also customize diecast cars as well , but having a hard time getting wheels in bulk ,can you help me out? Thank you
Sucks that stuff left behind glue but you pulled it off with the clear. I think if you wouldn’t of pointed it out no one would of be the wiser, awesome 👍🏻🔥🤘🏻

I think it turned out awesome 😎
And this is my favourite type of truck 🛻
So win win 👍

Love your channel. 👍
Have the same hold and I love it
Pure Citrus air freshener is always my go-to to remove most glues plus it smells good
The heavy clear coat looks pretty killer to me! Awesome looking c10 stepside!
I have 2 of those from when I was a kid. When I was 18 I actually had almost a replica of it and had it velcroed to my dash! Just didn’t have the IROC rims lol

Another glossy beauty! I'd certainly like to see more of these masking projects !
Problems arose, but you pushed thru with awesome ending. Very nice !!!
Got the Cameo 3 and it's really flexible when it comes to working on designs, even layouts for artwork.
If you use the transfer with the glue on stick it to some jeans a bunch of times (to dull it down) then when it’s tacky just stick it back over the glue residue left on the car it will put the glue off nice and easy
Just made my P.I.M.P. Friday! Now I know it's not going _down_ in flames it'll just be in _flames_ as in FIRE! Time to crack a cold one and enjoy!
SWEET! One very BOSS truck, love that custom paint job. ✌️
Wow!! Flames turned out awesome..love the colors you chose. 👍👍
Very cool video & C10 paint‼️🔥👍👍
That's one wild paint job, for all the issues you dealt with it came out amazing, great stuff !
Your art is amazing. Rly deep color and brightness in the one. Love it.
Thank you for the very good videos man, can tell you're a good dude too !!
I think it turned out lovely
Very cool, with the transfer paper… 🤔 Never knew you could do it on a small scale model like that? Glue residue sucks! Nice finish, love the candy black 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
alcohol should take the sticky stuff off, as long as it doesn't bother the paint. Sweet ride!
Very cool paint work! 😎👍
I think the paint turned out amazing, considering the glue leavins. Keep up the amazing work.
Outstanding results! Not going to lie, the thumbnail pic had me worried. I was like “cool, a blooper video”, but nope. Well done and looks like a new tool for cool graphics.
Looks awesome!! I’ve been wanting to try the same thing. Thanks for being willing to experiment.
very cool man. def learning curve with the new tech, but it's gonna make your work even more outstanding than it already is. i'm excited where you go with it.
It looks so good, hope you can find a transfer paper that works for you .
Ooh, I love me a stepside. Those flames look great, despite the issue with the vinyl masks
Slick paint! Love the reflection fade on the candy flames.
love the deep gloss look. how about a magenta or wood bed just to break up all the black. can't wait for the next one
Yeh - a wood bed wood be sweet
Don't know if you can get "Shellite" in the USofA, that's my goto for glue removal, BC (before computers) when draftsmen used pens to draw, we used shellite to keep the big sheets of vellum clean while we were working on our drawings.
Every episode is a tutorial on awesomeness. I love what goes on here.
It’s almost like Jimmy sez, “Hold my beer!”
BEAUTIFUL!
It looks awesome.
That is sweet i want it for my collection.
I love it very sweet Boom Lee
Can you make a video about your airbrush set up and how you maintain it
Nice painting bro, so cool
Beautiful paint :)
Super saaweeet Dr. Diecast.
That clearcoat you use makes the cars look like they were poured into being. I mean, it made a Trabant look good.
It's the real deal automotive stuff :)
Wow, the truck has a liquid look!
Checked out your channel cool content:)👍🏻
Yes I do know what you mean! I had a early seventies C10 short box fleetside back in the day.
Thats beautiful
Hell yeah! good save♥️🤘👍
Awesome video content man ,great job
Could you use IPA to remove that glue? Dries fast and normally doesnt ruin paint.
Looks good👍👍
Dude you guys should do up in American Tipper you cannot find replacement beds for those things anywhere same way with the American Hauler I mean it's the same casting
Question..... what air pressure do you spray the stynalres primer? Where did you get that awesome new holder with the magnets
Love the flames! I would have probably given up after seeing all that glue residue
I wonder if vinyl wrap would work for making flames out of ?
that thing is sick.
SWEET TRUCK
Good lookin truck 👍✌
Beautiful Hot Machine...

I'm not a flame guy but that looks great!!
hi from panama,,, can you do the same flames with spray dupli-color paint.....?? or just airbrush::??
maybe no,, 🤐👍🏽
Show man, a cola do adesivo ficou em algumas partes da carroceria, como você retirou. Parabéns pelo canal.
To remove the sticky glue left behind use a new piece of the same transfer paper and dab it until the glue comes off
You keep saying it looks bad but I think it still looks amazing even before the clear coat. Are you planning on mixing the 3d printing modifications and car customization? It'd be cool to redo interiors and stuff with the printer or make custom wheels, spoilers, hood scoops. We're do you get the clear from and amazing job
Looks awesome
I'd paint my car that coloured, soooooooo cool!!
Try rubbing alcohol to as an adhesive remover
What clear do you use? Nice shine!!!
That's Awesome!!
Awesome job as usual, would love to know where you source your wheels from. I also customize diecast cars as well , but having a hard time getting wheels in bulk ,can you help me out? Thank you
wouldn't a little alcohol on a cotton swab take care of the glue residue without damaging the paint?
Great Video as always! I would love to hear your opinion about the nostalgic stuff i make:) anyways have a great day✌😀
So last night watching tommy boy I think it would be awesome to have Richards car after the hood and the top riped up think it could be done
Damn that's beautiful
What type of paint do you use?
I paint miniatures and usually use acrylic which does seem to work very well on metal
These Createx Paints are water based urethane, they spray lovely. But don't brush on at all.
Dollar Tree sells a block that erases glue and sticky stuff in the hobby section. In stationery
Awesome bro
Sucks that stuff left behind glue but you pulled it off with the clear. I think if you wouldn’t of pointed it out no one would of be the wiser, awesome 👍🏻🔥🤘🏻
SO CLOSE TO 100k SUBS! WOOT!
hello man greetings from lima Peru!!
It looks killer to me, try Goo Gone
That’s pretty sweet. What’s your mix ratio on the candy2o?
Blubbs 4 Jimmyyyy!!!
What transfer tape and vinyl are you recommending
Scotchcal by 3M vinyl and whatever transfer tape.
Bestine Thinner should remove the glue without damaging the paint.
Awesome
If u heat it maybe it would come off easier?
