A very nice interview. Engelbert has always been a kind and nice person apart from being a great singer of the XX century. It's luck for all to have opportunity to listen to his numerous lovely ballads. The ballads that are lovely from both points - of music and words. Yes, I recognized the talented Engelbert early in his career, and joined the EHNFC when it opened in NY - and received this 45 as a gift from Engelbert. I will have to unlock it from my treasure trove, to play again, as I do not recall and interview added to it., but perhaps you added it to fill the time slot, which is very lovely I might add. I was the Peekskill Humperdinck weekend in 72 ~ and my fan club for Enge was chartered in 74.....still going strong! . Dorothy
His speaking voice is as beautiful as his singing voice. It's obvious he is much younger on this record, as his voice is much higher than it is now. This is so sweet!!!!!

How can I get a copy of the. album Love Unchained. I looked at Canterburys and got a man there to help me. he said the song I wanted was on the Love unchained album and was never put on a CD. He said it is out of print.

I have been searching for his song PLEASE UNDERSTAND. I went to Canterburys record store in Pasadena Ca. The older gentleman who was helping me looked it up and told me "IT WAS ON THE ALBUM LOVE UNCHAINED " he also said it was never put on a CD only the Vinyl album. He said it cant ge found anywhere. He looked under new & used albums but nothing! Can anybody help me find this album? Please! 😧😍😢
"Please Understand" is definitely on the "Love's Only Love" album. It was also produced In CD format. The CD is now out of print, but may possibly be found on EBay.
