I hate picky children so whenever i see little children be picky with their food i show them a presentation of the holocaust and ww2 and how they lived ❤
Tried this today for our family, it was so good and it was a big hit. Add a dash of sesame oil when mixing the sauce and the chicken to improve the flavor even more
A few things I altered about my recipe was I added beer instead of water to the fry batter and I added the chicken after the sauce was cooled so it wouldn’t ruin my crisp chicks (bonus tip- double fry that Chicky, don’t be shy)
Why do y’all always want to add beer to everything?😂😂 Water is just fine and club soda or any carbonated _non-alcoholic_ beverage (that’s also cheaper, as a plus) will do. I swear, there’s something pathological about the addition of beer to damned-near everything you people try to cook😂😂 No wonder prohibition failed miserably 💀🤣
@@EchoJ you're aware that alcohol evaporates at UNDER 80°C, right? A much, much lower temperature than water, and neither temperature is as high as the cooking temperature for this dish. Beer adds flavour (which water certainly DOESN'T), carbonation (which plain water doesn't, although a soda does), sweetness via its natural sugars (which aren't a lot, but you're not making a sweet here). You should try getting less offended by what strangers put in their food. And no I am not American, in my country we use alcohol (especially wine) in cooking too. OP, thank you for the idea, I am trying this.
Can i save the sauce in the fridge? I spend most of my day in school so i prep my meals in the weekends and then i make my lunchbox trought the week, i usually prep the chicken with only one fry and then freeze it, so i can just trow them into the air fryer for some minutes while i'm getting ready, i was planning on making the sauce base and store it so i can just trow it on the heat with the corn starch really quickly and then put the chicken, but again i don't know if it will last Sorry for the poor english skills, my grammar sucks in my first language, it's not going to be any better in english
I know i’m late but yeah you can keep most sauces good for months in the fridge and longer in the freezer. More so since this recipe used vinegar and citrus, it’ll keep it fresh
I made myself one portion just now with a single chicken breast that i marinated in bulgoji sauce from last night, added a whole orange and eyeballed all the ingredients and it was amazing omfg maybe next time i’ll try cooking it in the air fryer to see if it’s possible to do it with less oil. Thanks for the great recipe!
i love eating orange chicken and even chicken strips with orange sauce and sweet n sour sauce, I'm eating that right now, it taste very delicious! chinese food is the best ever!
Mix, fry: Water, cornstarch, chicken, black pepper, soy sauce, egg white Mix, boil: Garlic, ginger, soy sauce, orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar After boiling, the mix should thicken. Combine the mix with fried chicken.

Sure, here's a simple homemade chicken nuggets recipe: Ingredients: - Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces - 1 cup breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese - 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 teaspoon onion powder - Salt and pepper to taste - 2 eggs, beaten - Cooking oil for frying Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). 2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. 3. Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. 4. Place the coated chicken pieces on a baking sheet. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. 6. Alternatively, you can fry the nuggets in oil until golden on each side. Enjoy your homemade chicken nuggets!
I made this, dont do that extra bit of cornstarch in the sauce. I was confused when he said it, but definitely would just skip that step next time. i'd rather the sauce be glazy rather than gravy consistency.
I used this recipe in a cooking competition today together with my mom and we won ❤️ Thank youuu!
Well done 🎉❤
For anyone wondering about the cornstarch, it’s a mixture of water and cornstarch. Also known as a slurry
4 NE1 WONDERING
Also known as Cornflour.
@@sharonensor7471 That's a completely different ingredient
@@abbbblelol it's not 😂
@@yashshrinegiyes bro it is. Cornstarch vs cornflour google it. The problem is the name. Everyone is naming different ingridients the same name

I just made this tonight. Eyeballed all the measurements “Asian style” and it came out amazing. Thank you so much for this recipe
Cook with your senses
Tf u mean asian I'm Chinese and I have never heard of orange chicken before bruh
@@WoopyWoop-112 they said they eyeballed the measurements "Asian style" because there is a stereotype of Asians not using measuring cups or spoon.
@@ninam.6781 yep that's true I do just throw my spices without any measurement(unless it baking)
Amazing! 10 years ago there was no good recipes and just look at this now!!!

I just made this today and my fiancé loved it! He said he had a craving for orange chicken so I thought I’d try this recipe, and it was a hit! ❤

ginger, garlic, soy sauce, orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar > boil > cornstarch slurry.
Any substitute for rice vinegar??
What are the measurements ?
u dont need measurements for this...
I’m so dumb I didn’t think orange chicken actually had the orange fruit in it I thought it was just named after the color
You aren't the only one
tbh you dont need to include it, you can make orange chicken sauce with primarily vinegar and sugar and some other ingredients
I can’t find the full recipe?!
Cannot wait to try it. :)
I didnt know the recepy. Thank you
Put the zest near the end of cooking out the sauce to avoid bitterness
Made it it was a hit!!!!!
It tastes amazing, had afew substitutes because I didnt have all the ingredients but wow!
no salt at all?
What part of the chicken do we use? Thigh? Breast? Leg?
I hate that there's no description! Those look like boneless chicken thighs.
Thank you! Amazing short! I got right to it!
Really enjoyed to watch your Video!
Instead of frying in oil, would they still turn out good if I put the chicken in the air fryer
Ok this is how I’m trying it next week!

Apple cider vinegar, champagne vinegar, white vinegar. It won't be exact but it is a decent alternative.

If I have chicken precooked can peel it and lut that sauce on it will it be the same, because I'm a teen and can't use stoves will it still work 😭
You can probably put flour and stuff on the already cook chicken might be little dry but the sauce will make it moist again
looks so good fr

Pretty late here but if you let the corn starch settle to the bottom in a bit of water before mixing it all together it becomes next level crispy.
