Nine Sols Red Centaur in 1:07:390 [3rd place] by Etholux

This took a REALLY long time to accomplish. The second phase was incredibly fast, but I could probably save a second on the first phase.
Note - Audio cuts out for a moment on the leaderboard because I Alt+Tabbed to OBS for a second, then went back to take a screenshot.

when I first saw the leaderboards I thought there was no way people were beating him in 1 minute without some kind of exploit or glitch. Now i see it's just insane skill, well done.

Yeah no me too, I finally got my time under 2 minutes (over the 3000 rank, yay! Coming from 15000~ for my first finish)...
And I was like "Bro, I killed his FIRST phase and got him back at the 1 minute mark... HOW THE HELL THEY DONE ALREADY!?"

gotta be honest i played the demo and was like meh its ok but this boss really made me excited it was so much fun

0:59 here i was dashing to avoid that attack only to learn you can just jump over it

I couldn't avoid it by dashing 80% of the time. I'd dash behind, but the invisible hitbox on the back of it would hit me most times.
The fact that you just...jump over it...pains me.

Its insane how addicting this game is.
I finally said "enough" and put my controller down after reaching 1 min, 19 sec and something.
But I never planned to go that far.
First it was: Lemme just beat the boss and move on to other things.
Then it became: Lets see if I can do it under 2 min....or maybe under 1 min and 40 sec...or under 1 min and 30 sec....

Very impressive work. I had no idea you could land the dashy explosion thing away from him if you were near his forelegs. Also had no idea you could cancel the last attack in the combo chain by turning around. I ALSO didn't know you could jump over the red glowy stab.
Thanks to your video I got 1:45:75 on my second kill! I don't suppose there's any way to check a full leaderboard? I'm at 1991'st place but I'd like to know how many people I'm better than, just so I can feel a little bit more pleased with my accomplishment.

I just finished it for the first time didn't know there was a scoreboard, I thought I did well but then I was placed in the 14000th!! this is amazing, congrats
Update, now I'm around 2000th, hopefully I'll get top 100, this game will be awesome when it comes out !

Can you be more specific? Do you think the parry window is too tight or too loose? Do you think the attack animations are not telegraphed well enough?

@@Etholux The window is good. i can't rely on animations to know exactly 100% when to parry. I kind of figured when to parry but at least 1/4 of the time I take damage

@@ArtyomVoinov No offence but you are just not parrying on time... just like sekiro if you're a second too late/early you will take some sort of damage- though the damage will be regainable as health.
