i recently found your channel and it makes me miss cambodia sooooo much. my family and i moved here ( to the US) in 2006 and i have never been back to visit. i’m now 22 and feel so out of touch with my culture. the only way i can connect is cooking khmer food now that i’m states away from my parents i rarely speak khmer. my husband is mexican american i have been trying to teach him khmer words so i don’t lose the khmer language. thank you so much for making content. it’s nice that you speak both khmer & english.
Thanks for thr comment. Yeah i also moved back to the u.s in 2007 but have been back here for 5, 6 years now
I’ve been living in Cambodia now for a few months. I like the traditions and the food and how it is still rustic and down to earth. I wonder how long it will remain this way before the Chinese and western technocrats get their claws in, introducing all the cameras, taxes and bureaucracy which is a growing trend worldwide. Cambodia is a place to relax and dare I say the cliche- to find yourself ! I admire your effort for learning the Khmer language.
It was way more laxed 20 years ago. Cambodia is already on a fast trajectory towards the very thing your talking about
Eva is super cute. She travels well too… didn’t cry at all…
Nice to learn about Nokor Bachey! There are so many temples/pagodas in srok Khmer/Cambodia waiting to be discovered we only hear about Angkor Wat. We have more Khmer temples located in Thailand and Laos too before invasion.
Great video! I love learning history and how they lived back then.
It was cute how the family’s sandals were clicking in sync 😂
you have such a lovely family, thank you for sharing these lovely moments with us
Can you imagine what life was like back when this was just built?
Yeah! Crazy
Very beautiful country. ❤️ Hope to visit Cambodia very soon. 🤗🇰🇭
Greetings from Philippines. 🇵🇭

Your daughter is adorable! Her cheeks! 😍 they say they grow up so fast so enjoy it and soak it all in … its so true because my little man is 9 months and that went by quick!
She really is. But no matter how big she gets shell still be my baby girl 😆
Of course you speak fluent Khmer because you married to a native Cambodian woman and her family. Basically you're surrounded by Khmer speakers. Good for you! Thanks for sharing and I'm happy for you to be able to speak Khmer fluently!
I spoke fluent Khmer before I met my wife. Some might say won my wifes heart by speaking Khmer. lol
@@CamboVlogs
It is wonderful for foreigners to speak other languages, especially Khmer because not too many people from around the world speak Khmer. Power to you! I'm very pleased.
Wow! brother can speak Khmer fluently and thanks for make this video to sharing people in the world for watching.

OMg I never knew there were any in Compong Cham 😮 I was there for 2 days.. 😅 thanks for mentioning it. I will definitely visit the temple next time around. ( my husband and I owned 2 hectors of land in a resort land there in Compong Cham )
Your kid is cute. Chubby cheek.
Hello, thanks for showing the temple in 2023. I miss it so much. On the other hand, your baby looks so adorable.
Your Khmer better then mine and I’m Khmer 😂🤦🏽 good content brother 🤟🏽 keep exploring
I did not know your daughter has the same name as me! But, i don’t go by Ava. My mom named me after Eva Longoria. Hehe I’m Wasian as well, my mom is Khmer. Woohoo! Love your vlogs!
Your daughter is too cute ❤ wow that those Peatrea looks delicious
I'm watching then I see the many handed statue with one in new cement and I'm thinking HEY, I've BEEN there and yup....bicycled there with 3 Khmer girls and guy friend (I was living in student ghetto in KC with them years ago). Amazing. I like KC. Even found an Amazon cafe and a small 5 star chicken place down the road a little from where I stay on my last trip in Jan. Did you hit Woman mountain too? maybe another vid?
My moms a refugee she loves seeing these videos, she misses her country. We in America I was born in United States.
So great video in Cambodia❤️️🇰🇭 Thanks for sharing
Your daughter is so chonky! So cute!
Eva is absolutely cute and adorable 😍 🤩🥰❤️
Nice video, incredible site, your fam seems cool
I used to play with my friend around this temple when I was young b I really miss those memories.
Angkor wat was built 1100-1200 AD. Both Hindu and Buddhist structures are only 100 years apart. The Hindu structures at Angkor are the older ones.
Mom: Shoot a video of me going in
Cambo Vlog: Nahh
lmao. Anyways, I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. I had forgotten I visited here back in 2012. Will be back in two weeks!
😍😍😍 nice video bro.
Loving how he’s speaking English with a Cambodian accent at some parts LOL. Like I speak English fine but whenever I’m home the accent comes out for whatever reason haha
2:45 you are good person man 🥰🥰🫶🏻
Beautiful family tours around old temple 😘🙏🙏🙏💕❤️🥰🇰🇭
Funny 😆 Pat

Pat is AmericanKhmer 😂
I have been there, rode a motorcycle around about 12 years ago😂. My wife is from Kompong Cham named raksmey too😊
Same
At least it is only $2.50 When I visited the Unity Park & Museum in Addis Ababa Ethiopia they charged us foreigners $50 EACH!
😮😮
I went there with my friend 2 months ago and they said it was 10$ for foreigners to visit there. So my friend didn't pay, and he couldn't go inside
beautiful family
More of this please!
Wow, baby's getting big!
Nice channel good content too🎉
Why is she so cute. ????? I am jealous.
I’m not sure if there’s a Cambodian community here in Tennessee, but would love to hang out with you and your family when you guys are back. We are also originally from California, but moved to Tennessee feel like a tourist in Tennessee although we’ve been here for five years.
My sister lives in TN
I think just like the ankor wat, this temple was also a hindu temple and then later converted to the Buddhist temple. I could be wrong but the Vishnu statue was a big giveaway.
Eva so cute
I heard Angkor Wat is free to barangs that can prove they've lived in Cambodia for at least 2 years. Do you know if that's true? Cool vlog too, bong.

I guess I'm the first to comment here ☺️
Your daughter loves to smile for the camera….
When I was there, there was no one working the front gate to check for ticket.
Awesome 😎
I wish I could live there but most jobs required connections. If you're not another race, forget about being hired. My husband change his name from Bora to Bret. Didn't work out for my family. Couldn't find a job and stay there over 6months. I havent been to that temple. Hopefully one day, I'll go and visit there again. I'm so stock with your Cambodian. Better than mine.
Is it in Kampong Cham right?
Yes Thyda
Happy Chinese New Year y'all.
I know it's abit late, but still :)

Hey brother I’m going Cambodia in 3 weeks! How is the weather up there
Hi the weather has been lovely here, but these couple its kinda cold especially at night the temperature is around 20c-21c and at day time around 28c-30c. By the time you come, it will probably gets warmer
កូនខ្មែរ😁❤️
Nice video. I'm in Siem Reap with my GF since 2 days right now and i have some question.. Its not possible to go in the north of siem reap if we dont pay for the temple ? I mind i don't want to see the temple for example i just want to go in the forest or in the jungle idk but they have checkpoint everywhere ! seriously come on.. we need to pay just for enjoy nature or waterfall ?? i'm here for 1 week and dont want to stay just in the city. you have any idea for see somewhere with not to much tourist and free ? ( some village we need yo pay come on), we like people in combodia we just want to enjoy our trip 😊
I don’t think you can get past the check points anymore. They will literally tail you on their mopeds. Ran into the same problem when we just wanted to go through the main road to this one famous feral chicken place. I was born in Cambodia btw but raised in Canada so my cambo was shit. Didn’t help that I looked foreign lol.
@@Pan00000-t OK i understand its a little bit sad when you want just to see the nature or some waterfall we need to pay. I Know the situation in combodia but sometimes its too much we love the people here the food etc.. But for paying for just looking nature seriously ???
@@davplo9432 I think the reasoning is to help with the up keeping and such since they had such a huge influx of tourism. I had the same issue but thought meh I’ve had to pay to get up the Empire State Building/ Willis tower etc. even in Canada you have to pay a fee for some national parks which I don’t agree with but I understand. Ps. Don’t go for restaurant instead just hit up the walking street for street food and shakes 🤤
@@Pan00000-t hmm depend in France i don't pay for looking just the nature.. When u drive in the Road and u have à checkpoint and they say " its not possible without ticket" OK no problem i try to go more in north another checkpoint etc... Its tired.. I work for a French ONG to help kids in south asia, so i dont think its normal this type of business.

Cambodian? By marriage certification? You don't need visas anymore as you have a Cambodian passport? Can you buy land in your name in Cambodia? Interesting that he didn't ask for your identity card, would you have had your Cambodian identity card on your person? I'm just curious as I've lived here 10years with a 7year old direct blood child and don't have any of these things.
Now you.have a beautiful.daughter
