Despite the number of one techs, which I have a few friends who complain about one tech, I have to agree. This meta is so diverse that one techs will probably save you from just about anything.
It's been much more interesting looking at the lists in this way than normal. I think a hard comparison of what works and doesn't helps BUT I will also argue that I'm not mixing any data from other regions because their tops were vastly different - not to mention they lower player cap.
Thank you! There's a lot of time spent going into these but I wanted to show case where other players had fine tuned their decks to and why. I'll try to do these more frequently because I think these are more valuable than just meta monday episodes.
I'm just a dude playing at my locals, and these guys are getting tournament results, so I am not saying I know some secret that others don't or anything. But I think people are really sleeping on cards like gobli, dober x and cerb x. I run all of these are 3-4 in my levia deck and the dober/cerb make proto form really useful in the deck as well. I don't run Waru at all. It has been really interesting to see what people build for Levi because it feels like every list is unique in some way.
When I was tinkering with the build, I really liked Goblimon and Dobermon X! Because this is a really nice way to cycle through your deck and also have a cheap 1 cost evo. Unfortunately, Protoform just wasn't working for me for Leviamon. I think the BT9 X Antibody is the way to go.
Hey it's steven. I didn't like proto cause you need an x anti digimon to use and there were times where I wouldn't see it so consistnecy was an issue. Also there are a lot of mem blockers this format so I didn't feel like gobli or dober x were good.
@@Sstteevveerrzz For sure! I ran into that issue as well when I was running the protoform variant! I appreciate your feedback on this! Congratulations again on top 16!
While you can set your memory to 3 and also gain additional memory from trashing, I think the deck space constraints are already tight enough as is. In some ways do you want to potentially spend that one turn to play the Matt Ishida or are you banking off a security Garurumon to do it for you?
@@DIGI-PANDA personally he's 🙏 played on my first few turns with the garu or sec check, but I run my deck slightly different to have as much memory as i can and punishing, as in utilizing 3 ST16 wscattered, (3 drago+2 waru), 1 demonic disaster, 2 Matt's, 2 geso blockers, 1 scattermode, and my rookies are 4 gabu, 3 gobli, 3 syako,1 guilmon, took out xantibody options tho for this type of tech, 4 training, no boosts
I think Tesero's list is the best, will be taking heavy inspiration for Core Regional. Great analysis!

The breakdown! Holy shit 😂 I like this type of analysis, thank you!

This is a really useful analysis. I hadnt considered goblimon and was having trouble bricking with perhaps too many levia and biting crush

Im surprised no one runs starter deck Matt Ishida
