It’s called commercialism! Madness were definitely a skin band, especially in the very early days - doing tv shows like razzmatazz was all part of commercial success, it had nothing to do with their roots of music or who they appealed too! They did shows like Top Of The Pops regularly too, and you could hardly say the audiences there were Skinheads either!!
Just when I think I couldn't love Bedders any more along comes this clip of him letting the kid play his bass!
This sounds like a re-record, not live but not the record, interesting
I remember this programme on CITV
Aww Bedders letting that kid play his bass
It's going to be that young man's claim to fame I played bass with Bedder's help on a Madness classic
Nice alternative version.
MERCI MERCI MERCI !!!!
yeah, 80s kids saturday tv got excited by stuff like 'American Football', or northern gurning contests.
it was a simple time.
Is the source already blocky or is it just the uploads? I'd love to see the Razz vids in better quality. Nevertheless, a great find.
no its youtube ok for the uploads
Given the TV studio audience, it's hard to believe Madness had a reputation for a skinhead following!

@@Pauls_Archive My remarks were made more in jest tbh
@@kronsteen9093 Some of those kids where little Skinheads.
Get back to playing chess and being stabbed in the leg with a poisoned blade!
@@vordman Don't like being reminded of when I was kicked in the leg like that. It was all Rosa Klebb's fault!
